I. Foreword

I recently bought this game while looking for another bishoujo
(Or perhaps the more direct word "Hentai games" :P) game I
came notice of this game. I became interested in this game
because of the shounen-ai style (Or perhaps a more direct word....
"Yaoi". ) of drawing and some of it's screenshots. But I assure
     you, I mean a straight man. ;)

I was quite suprised for the quality of the story itself, as
well as it's usage of high profile voice actors. (Which I recognize
in Super Robot Taisen games as well as some anime I watched.) and
it's visuals. (Especially on some of the gruesome scenes.)

After playing this game, I immediately came across the "Quiet
Corrosion" ending scenario, which annoyed me to no end, and came
looking for a walkthrough for just a nodge in the right direction.
Which sadly came to nothing, so know, I create this walkthrough
for the people that will need it.

Also, this FAQ is still a work-in-progress as I'm still playing
this game and still trying to get all of the endings that I can.

Lastly, I suggest best to look at first in the FAQ section,
because there might be an answer to your annoyance there..... ;)

II. FAQ

Q. : I followed your walkthrough, but on the scenario "Soup of Life"
there's no choices and it immediately goes to "A Quiet Corrosion"
what did I do wrong!!?? :(

A. : You're missing certain items needed for the story to progress.
you can refer to the "Spoiler Free Tips" for help on how to
     get the missing items.

---------------------

Q. : I can't save Lilith! The scenario "A Quiet Corrosion" always happens
after "A Luminescence Blessing" and I have done every choice possible!
     Arrrgh!!

A. : Well, besides the answer on the first question, copies of the game
actually has a bug that will prevent you from getting an item
(Philosopher's Sulfur) needed to finish the game.

Now go download that patch, create the item on "Outbreak of War" and,
     relax.... ;)

---------------------

Q. : The "Outbreak of War" scenario has only squares and dots as text!
(Or Japanese if you have East-Asian Language support installed.)

A. : It's another bug, again, this is fixed by the patch.

---------------------

Q. : Where's the dang patch you always wanted me to download!!?!?!111

A. : Umm.... Can't you use google? Here it is, it's on the official website!
     http://www.hirameki-int.com/appc/download/index.html

To be more precise, there are currently as of this writing two
patches available, one of them is only needed if you're playing
the game in the Mac, this fixes the broken configuration screen.

The second one is the important one. This fixes the possible text
problems you might experience and actually enable you to finish
     the game! :P

III. Update Log

Version 0.1
    - This is the first version I submitted to GameFAQs.
    - Has three good endings, and almost all the bad
      endings. I guess I'm a sinner.... :(

==========================================================

IV. Hardware Requirements

Windows 95 or later / Mac OS 9.1 or later
500MHz Pentium III or AMD Athlon Processor
    128MB Of RAM
    8 speed CD drive
    1GB of free HDD space
    32Mb video card

Basically, the game is nothing much different from the usual
visual adventure games from Japan, with the exception is that this
game is made from Macromedia flash, which ups the requirements
a little. But even if you have just a Pentium 2, this game should
run albeit slowly, but with only text and some graphics, it doesn't
    matter at all. :)

VI. Spoiler-Free Tips

   - In the beginning of the game, answers you choose in Mephistopheles
questions will affect the endings you can get.

   - The game has an ending in basically just about every major character
in the game. Even the male ones.

   - When you get a bad end, the items you got in that playthrough will
be saved. This means in order to get to a real ending you might need
to replay the game more than twice.

   - In order to proceed in most areas of the game, you need to have the
needed items. The fastest way to do this is make a playthough just only
gathering every item you can and not research, then after that, replay
the game and research every time.

VII. The Endings

In this section, I will show you the endings you can attain in this
game and tips on your to get them.

---------------------

The Good Endings :

---------------------

Ending 6 = Tipheret (Beauty)

You can get this ending if you "Say Goodbye to Lilith" in "Awakening".

---------------------

Ending 10 = Kether (Crown)

If you reach the scenario "Inferno", you're on the way to this ending.
You can reach this ending if you avoid Mephistopheles temptation in
"Inferno" (This means saying no to his kiss. Hehe) and repent for all
of your sins in "Purgatorio".

---------------------

Ending 10 = Malchut (Kingdom)

This ending occurs if you "Continue the Kiss" to Mephistopheles
in the "Inferno" scenario.

---------------------

The Bad Endings :

(These are the endings that give you the game over screen.)

Bad End 2 – Greed

Simply "Refuse" to Mephistophele’s pact in the "Den of Homunculus"
then you will proceed to "A Demon's Torment" scenario. In that
scenario, choose "No, that is wrong."

---------------------

Bad End 4 = Anger

Choose "Betray Mephistopheles" at "Awakening".

---------------------

Bad End 6 = Envy

This ending occurs on the scenario "Confession" if you allow
St. Germain to take Lilith.

---------------------

Bad End 7 – Sloth

Simply "Refuse" to Mephistophele’s pact in the "Den of
Homunculus" then you will proceed to "A Demon's Torment"
scenario. In that scenario, choose either "You are right."
or “I want to think no more of it”.

---------------------

Bad End 7 = Sloth-B

This ending happens when you can't save Lilith. When the scenario goes to
"A Quiet Corrosion" , then it will to go Sloth-B ending.

---------------------

Bad End X1 = Queen Lilith

This ending will happen in the scenario "Inferno" if you decide
to "See Lilith".

---------------------

Bad End X2 = He Who Does Not sin

This ending will happen in the scenario "Purgatorio" if you decide to
not repent for any of your sins.
