0.2:

This is the first version of this guide. I chose 0.2 because that's about
how far I think I am into the guide, 20%. I'm hoping to work on this guide
every single day until I'm done, so expect quite a few updates!

0.4:

Well, here we are at 40%. I've gotten a bit farther in the story and started
my guide on the Zoo sidequest. I've also decided to fill out a few empty
spaces(this section included!). I'm also trying to fill in a bit of the
 item list.

1.0:

Whew! After two weeks, the walkthrough and pretty much everything else is
 completely finished. Oh happy day...

1.01:

I just had to fix a few mistakes I made. Nothing major in any sense of the
 word.

Our game opens with Kya and Frank discovering a hidden room inside their
house. Inside this room is a bunch of old, weird stuff. Frank finds a small
disc and places it on a desk, opening a strange portal to what appears to be
another dimension. They're both sucked in and Kya awakens in a very foreign
world. When there, she learns that the people are actually hunted down by
an evil man named Brazul, who turns Nativs into evil creatures called
Wolfens. These Wolfens are his army and blindly follow him, doing whatever it
is he commands. Kya knows that she must help these people by defeating Brazul
and liberating the Nativs.

On your screen at any given time are a few things that you should know about.

1: Kya's health meter is at the top-left corner of the screen. Kya takes
damage, the meter goes down. If she finds something to replenish it, it goes
up.

2: The Mana meter is below Kya's health meter. It shows how much mana she has.
Mana is used to exorcise a wolfen or open a shell elevator.

3: The Nooties counter is found on the bottom-left corner of the screen.
Nooties are the Nativ form of currency. Use them to buy whatever you need in
one of the many shops.

4: The liberated nativ's counter is on the bottom-right of the screen. This
shows how many wolfens you've exorcised.

5: The wolfen counter is on the top-right of the screen. This counter shows
how many wolfen are left that haven't been returned to Nativ's.

6: Enemy health bars. Make them go down!

- If you knock a wolfen off the edge of an area, then follow him down! When
you yourself fall down, any wolfen that fell down as well or were beaten
but not exorcised come back to life right where they were before.

                               Walkthrough

==============================================================================

                   [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]
                            2a: The Beginning
                   [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]

As soon as you have control of Kya, follow the native. As you go through this
narrow path the game will throw some things at you that will act as a small
tutorial on the games controls. There are a few circular cloth-type things
laying around in certain areas. If you walk over one, it will shoot up and
trap you inside like a net. You'll be stuck in it for a few seconds, but
the native always waits up for you.

Over a bridge, you'll need to kick one of the pigs laying around into
one of the net in order to move forward. Don't feel rushed or pressured,
though, because nothing will happen even if it takes you twenty tries.
As soon as you have, continue following the native.

Across a second bridge, you'll see a few different barriers that turn
on and off. Time it right so that you run through each one without
getting hit. I suggest only doing one at a time, though, because trying
to run through two or more can get really risky.

After heading through all of them, continue following the Nativ across
several platforms and down a very long natural water slide. At the end,
avoid the guy that's shooting at you and follow the Nativ through the
small opening and through the heavily-guarded area. Soon, you'll
find yourself hopping up moving ledges. Once youre at the top, you'll
traverse a bit more and then find yourself doing a ton of flying
around which is pretty fun. :)

Once you're done flying high, you'll reach a cutscene. Turns out you're
almost at this Nativ's village, but a Wolfen is blocking the secret
entrance(guess the secret's out, huh?). After a bit of bickering, the
Nativ will "convince" Kya to go be the bait instead of him. Go near
the circular stump and press square. Run over to the GIANT yellow
X and the Nativ will automatically set the trap(anyone else wondering
how he was able to create such an elaborate trap while a guard was
on duty?)

After this, the Nativ will drag the Wolfen's corpse back to the village
(o_O)

   Nativ City

After you enter the city you'll see a cutscene that shows whats up with
Frank. Obviously he's here too, but in another place. Things... don't
look too good for him, eh? Soon as that's over, once again follow the
Nativ and you'll see another cutscene. During this one, the Nativ will
show you around Nativ city and introduce you to Atea, the village elder
of sorts. It might have seemed early for a plot twist, but you'll get
TWO during this cutscene! :O

One of the Nativ's in the village will also give Kya a bracelet that will
make her more powerful. After receiving this bracelet, Kya will enter the
nearby arena and practice a few combat moves on a dummy. For some reason,
the guy who gave you the bracelet will say "Bravo!" nearly everytime you
successfully complete a move. Just so you know, there are quite a few moves
and combos. You'll probably hate him after this...

... but watch out! Once you think you're done, the Wolfen will wake up and
attack! However, he's no match for you. After seeing your super special
impressive remarkable fighting skills, Atea will grant you a special power.
This power of Awakening will allow you to turn Wolfen back into Nativ! The
other Nativ would use the power too, but they've got too much else to do,
like build shops and... build shops. *sigh* Looks like it's all up to you.
Make sure you remember to pick up the three mana balls use them on the
wolfen to turn him back into a Nativ!

Atea will tell you that you need a weapon before leaving. So, follow those
flashing yellow signs to a wind tunnel that will take you to another part
of town called uptown.

Some weird skater Nativ will stop next to you and start babbeling about
collecting some money and buying a board. I guess there just aren't that many
skaters in Nativ City, so he's pretty desperate for you to get one and race
against him. We have other priorities to deal with first, however, so follow
those familiar yellow signs again. You'll be able to collect some money and
some mana balls on your way, as well as get chased around by some really
annoying animals.

Once at the shop, go ahead and buy the Basic Boomy, since it's pretty much
all you can afford anyway. Kya will stick it in her hair... wait, I thought
we were buying a weapon, not a fancy hairclip! ...Anyway, once you have your
weapon, go behind the shop and break the two crates. You'll get some money
but a couple of those pesky little creatures will come out. Now that we have
a weapon, Beat them up to get a few mana balls.

Go back the way you came and you'll be given the task of finding a big blue
egg in the forest. The wolfen stole it yesterday, and you'll need to get it
back. Now, instead of following the yellow signs, you'll need to follow the
green signs (these guys must think you're a real dumbass!). The location of
the egg will be marked on your map(what, no signs?) so go ahead and follow
the green signs to make your way out to the forest. Don't stand too close to
those plants when you hit them with your weapon, because they'll knock her
down. They won't take any health, but it takes her a good second and a half
to get up! :P

                 [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]
2b: Find the Big Blue Egg!
                 [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]

   Flying Forest

Once you're in the forest, you'll need to jump on to the ledge and shimmy
across the gap. Watch out for those spiders though! There'll be a wolfen a
little farther ahead, and it'll take 3 mana balls to turn him back.
Since there were at least 5 across that gap you just crossed, you should be
just fine.

To get the mana balls above those exploding plants, use the air openings
to fly up. Up fartherahead are two more wolfen and a few crates. Make a mental
note to break most every crate you see, because you never know what might be
inside. Jump over the fence on the right side of the building and use your
boomerand to hit the orange piece of fruit off of the gate door. A pig will
fall down with it! Roll the pig over to the pressure pad and the door will
open.

Jump on to the top of the building and drop down inside. Pull the switch to
open the door and claim the map sitting to the right of the switch. With
this handy dandy map, you'll be able to see where all the wolfen in this area
are! Go back near the beginning and use the air gusts to rise up onto a slide.
Use the air gust to get back up where you were and try to land on one of
those exploding plants. If you don't you'll get a rather large loss of health.

To the right of where you first came in, you'll find an opening with a large
gust of wind coming out of it. At the end you'll see a rather un-sturdy
looking machine. Press the button and a bomb will pop out. Use it to destroy
the wall. Behind the wall were a few of those creatures you can easily
destroy with your bow and arrow. Guess what else was behind the wall?
Another wall. Make the machine poop out another bomb and this time kick the
bomb up to the wall.

Beyond the formerly walled up section is a hidden area with 5 crates. Look
to your right and you'll see a small opening that you can only get in using
the crouch position. Crawl under there and open up all the crates. Four of
the five crates contain enemies, but the fifth contains a good amount of
moolah.

Go back out and jump up onto the next level. There are two wolfen here and an
annoying machine that coughs out bombs at you. It can be a little hard to
dodge but it's not impossible. Beat up the two wolfen plus the one that was
manning the air canon and exorcise them all. Take a ride up the gust of wind
and beat up some more wolfen. Use the bomb machine and kick the bomb at the
red-shaded rocks.

Head down this path and use the amber rocks to regenerate if you have to.
Walk onto the lift and use your boomerang to hit the switch. A whole gang of
wolfen are waiting for you at the top, so be ready to take them on. Up ahead
is a section of bridge with a large rock in front of it. Use your boomerang
to cut down the rock and the rest of the bridge will flop down.

A powerful enemy awaits you over the bridge. When it has electricity running
through it, do NOT throw your boomerang at it! The electricity will run
through the boomerang right to Kya! Also make sure to jump when the ring of
electricity comes too close for comfort. This guy aint so tough once you
know how to take him out.

Head down the floating wooden steps and move onward. You probably need to
use the amber stone to regenerate. Once you've done that press onward and
you'll reach a wolfen camp. Read the sign to know what Atea wants you to
do, but actually... getting noticed on purpose isn't such a bad idea either.
Why? Because there are only four wolfen here, and we need to exorcise as many
of the poor guys as we can, right? So, if you think you can handle four
wolfen at once, go ahead and get noticed by the wolfen who walks up and down.
He'll ring a bell and the rest will come running.

Go through the camp and you'll soon see the blue egg you've been fighting so
hard to get on the other side of a gate. Since there's no obvious way of
getting through this gate, you'll need to simply go around it. On the other
side of the cliff with the egg is a small lift. Use your boomerang to hit
the button to make it go up and walk toward the egg.

The egg, however, doesn't last very long. It ends up hatching into what
looks like a flying Nativ. He's actuall a "Galbo" named Stuff. He'll shoot
some sound waves at your head and soon you'll see Atea is talking to you!
Unfortunately, you need a board to ride down the slopes, so follow the bird
dude down. Hmm... Some rocks are blocking the way... No worry. Just use some
bombs from the bomb machine that's near the egg's old resting place.

Before you do ANYTHING in this new area, hear this: Some of those grassy
stumps sticking out of the water are actually monsters waiting ot eat you!
Don't be an idiot like me and jump right on to one! Look closely to see which
one has an arrow pointing at it and jump on that one! If you're like me, then
you'll probably miss a few of the jumps anyway still. Thankfully, you just
start back at the front of the wolfen camp, so it really isn't that bad of a
trek back.

Once on the other side, use three mana balls to unlock the shell elevator!
Step on the golden-colored button and jump down to get transported back to
the village.

   Nativ Village

At the village, you'll watch a cutscene that tells you a little more about
the shell elevators and a brief history of them(very brief infact).

The guy with the parrot will start talking to you(with the parrot chirping in
every now and then) and then will take you to his house to talk more. Once
he's done explaining about the medallion(s), you'll get a message that a new
shop has just opened! Just follow the giant glaring arrows as usual. In this
show you can get a yellow bracelet(100), magic board(50) and a telescope(30).
Go ahead and buy the board first . Now you can either buy the telescope now
or save up and get the bracelet first, it doesn't matter that much. To use
the telescope, press R1 and move the right joystick to zoom in and out. Also,
remember that whenever you get a new bracelet, you need to go to Akasa's dojo
(the "Bravo!" guy, remember) to receive the correct training.

Right now before doing anything else, I suggest going back to the Roots to
unlock the shell elevator there and exorcise any wolfen you might not have
gotten the first time you were there.

Once you've done that, head uptown and follow the arrows to the slide.
Eventually you'll come across the Speed Racing area. You can come here
anytime to race whenever you want. Plus, you can bet $! You can't bet much
(5, 10 or 15 is all) but it's still nice to get money when racing.

When you've had your jollies with the racing for now, head back to the Flying
Forest(use your map if you can't remember where it's located).

   Flying Forest

Once there, you'll have to trek all the way back to the area where the blue
egg once was. To the right of the egg's old basket will be a slide you can
use your board on! At first you'll probably make a few mistakes on the jumps
and stuff, but for the most part it's a pretty easy ride. Be sure to unlock
the shell elevator at the end.

                 [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]
                     2c: Get the Receptacle!
                 [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]

You'll need to first roll the micken(the pig like creature) over to the wall
and then jump on to it. When Kya is jumping on him, press X to jump even
higher. This jump will be high enough to get over the wall. Watch out for the
electrical guys here. Use your boomy to cut down the rock holding the bridge
up.

Next, you'll need to roll the other micken up here to the next wall in order
for you to get over it. Once over the wall, jump into the gust of air and
jump over the wall. Take out the wolfen and cut down the fruit up above a bit.
The micken will run over and eat it. Jump up above the gust of wind and cut
down the fruit that's above that. The micken will run up and eat that.
Finally, run down to the far end and cut down the fruit there. Now, you'll
be able to use the micken to jump up to where the lever is.

Take out the five spiders circling the lever. Walk onto the lift and hit the
lever by throwing your boomy at it. You'll need to jump onto the next cliff
asap after the lift rises up because it'll come back down just as fast.

You can take out the little spider guys by hitting the electrical plants when
one of the spiders wanders a little too close to them. Just watch out so that
you don't get zapped in the process. Cross the floating wooden steps and
navigate your way through the vine-encrusted wind tunnel. Once you're through,
stand on the viney area and hit the switch with your boomy. Float across the
viney rocks and you'll be alerted by Stuff that a wolfen up ahead is armed
and dangerous. So, sneak up to the switch and hit it. Luckily, the wolfen
was standing on the same type of thing you were when you flew over those rocks!

Now go up to where the ill-fated wolfen was standing. Hit the lever and
quickly jump up onto the lift. Sneak across the bridge and very quickly beat
the shit out of him. Go across the next bridge and... uh-oh! Look who decided
to... drop in! *has rotten tomatoes thrown at him* Sorry! Well, just give him
a good exorcising and climb up the one-time bridge. Regenerate at the amber
stone if needed and continue on. Beat up the wolfen here(you don't have to
worry as much because he doesn't have a gun). Use the micken to jump on top
of the house and cross the roof bridge.

Inside the second house will be a crate with some $ and another micken for
you to use to get back on the roof. There's also a lever that will open the
door. Over the next and final bridge you'll be able to get across the two
locked doors from earlier. Before you hit the button and take a cannon-ride,
go inside the little hut to get some stuff. Once you've taken all of that,
make like a 1920's circus performer and shoot yourself over to the next area.

First you'll want to unlock the shell elevator for easy access back to Nativ
City and easy access for coming back here. On the other side will be two
electric blobs, kind of like the one you faced earlier. Take them out and
climb up the steps. Jump down and you'll watch a cutscene. Kya ALMOST gets
the receptacle, but a winged creature manages to knock her down and snatch
it before her! Damn! Use one of the amber stones to regenerate and slide
after the bastard.

This slide is a little more tricky than the ones you've faced before.
You'll have to be a quick thinker on this one. Don't worry too much if
you fall off. The bird dude will wait wherever you fell off. Hey, he might
of taken what you've been trying to get, but at least he's a fair guy. :P

Once you're through, beat up the three wolfen and the electric blob.
Step on the wooden area that was behind the electric blob guy and a
craneish thing will come over. Hop on and get transported to the other
side. Inside the birds nest you'll find the receptacle. Woot! Unlock the
shell elevator and head on back to Nativ City. You'll see a clip showing
Nativ's, Wolfen and Brazul. It can't be good...

I'd just like to point out, incase you hadn't noticed, that you can see how
many wolfen are left in each area on the shell elevators. Step on the button
of whichever area you want to go and below the picture will be a number
telling you how many wolfen still need to be exorcised. It's a pretty
helpful tool that you can use to find every last Nativ.

   Nativ City

You'll get a message from Atea telling you that he's waiting for you in the
Hunter's Domain.

2d: Join Atea in the Hunter's Domain
             [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]

Before going to the Hunter's Domain, a new shop will have opened in Nativ
City. Here, you can get the much-needed climbing gloves as well as the
green bracelet. Since it's one of your objectives to get the climbing gloves,
you should probably buy that first. If you still have a hundred nooties left,
go get the yellow bracelet if you haven't done that yet. Incase you're a
little short on cash, try out one of the minigames to get some money. Don't
forget to go to Bravo's... I mean Asaka's dojo to get some training.

For a quick and easy way to get to the Hunter's Domain, go to the elevator
room and Stuff will point out which elevator is the most practical.

  Flying Forest

Once here, look around until you see the air canon that you once used to get
over here. Use it again to go back. Then, go inside one of the houses and use
a micken to jump up onto the roof. Go back to the cave that had the vines in
it. Climb up and around and make sure you keep on moving so one of those
creatures doesn't hit you. Jump over to the other side and jump up and grab
onto the vines that have taken over the bottom side of the area above you.
Once across, jump over to the next side and climb up the vines there. Try
to avoid the spiders as they will knock you off.

Hop across to the side with the switch and bomb machine. Hit the machine so
it spits out a bomb. Make sure the bomb is on the pieces of wood that are
a different color than the rest. When the timer gets down to about 2, hit the
switch. This'll take out both the wolfens at the top so you don't have to.

Ride the lift to the top and after exorcising both the wolves, hit the switch
that's to the right and take a ride all the way to where a hole in the wall
blows some very strong wind at you. Before Kya hits it, you'll want to make
her jump up and grab the vines on the ceiling. Wait there until another
wooden lift makes its way by. Jump down onto that one and except for a couple
of jumps its smooth sailing from there. When you reach your next destination,
there will be a few frost-spitting monsters that you'll have to take out, as
well as about two dozen spiders. Take them all out and then go down the
slide on the left.

At the bottom will be a bomb machine. Take one out and roll it next to the
stones. Climb up the vines and make sure you sneak around the wolfens with
the guns. You'll see a doorway on the left side of the area. Go inside and
climb up the vines there. You'll be above the two wolfens. Jump onto the
trolley and ride it all the way across. Make sure you jump on the correct
side so none of the wolfens see you. After a while a hammer will hit the
center of the trolley. You'll need to jump around so that when it turns you
won't be visible to any wolfen.

When your trolly is getting stamped by the large rock, simply jump straight
up after the fourth beep. You should land on the next ledge that comes your
way. Do this until your trolly starts moving again.

Jump off when you see another moving trolly of sorts below you. Jump onto
that one and crouch down so the wolfen don't see you. When it stops for the
second time jump out quick before you get flattened by that boulder! Whack
the switch on the other side of the gate to set off a chain reaction of
doors opening! If you go to your left you'll notice a sign that says that
this is the Air Post access. However, if you walk up to the door Stuff will
notify you that you don't have what it takes to open the lever on the other
side of the door(no, he wasn't egging you on, you just literally don't have
anything to open that lever).

If you walk to your right Stuff will tell you that he "saw an extra energy bar
hidden right here!". You're gonna need to sneak up on the wolfen that's just
around the corner here(near the entrance) and beat him up. Then you need to
walk up onto the upper level. Look around until you see Stuff and his arrow
pointing at where you need to get to. To get here, you're gonna need to take
out a few guys. You need to walk around to get to the white pieces of wood
that are on the side of the area with the extra piece of health. All of the
wolfen surveying the different trollys getting hit by the rocks that are in
the way need to be beaten up except for the last two. There are two ways you
can go about taking these guys out. The easiest way to take them out is to
use the air canon up there. You can adjust the distance of the bombs by
holding the square button. This makes for a bunch of easy kills as long as
you can shoot them accurately and quick. However, that's a little risky
because they all seem to be very skilled at shooting you off. Another way
you can do it is by executing one combo on one guy, running away,
regenerating your health at the bottom using the amber stone, and repeat.
Remember to sneak up to the wolfen when you're going to attack. Taking the
last two guys out by fighting is nearly impossible however, so luckily
they're the easiest ones to take out with the canon. Once they're all
exorcised and back in Nativ City, head down to where the last two were.
To get inside, you need to attack the target fast and furiously. Tap
that square button with all you got and you should be in in no time.
Once she has her extra energy bar, Kya will be showered in some weird golden
stuff. Looks like she's enjoying it, eh?

If you're trying to get all the Nativs, you'll want to take out the rest of
the wolfen here. If you're good at using it, the canon can shoot a few more
of them down. A couple of them will likely need to be taken out by hand
though. I was able to take out one of the two guarding the front entrance to
the area using the canon but I had to sneak up and attack the other. If you
just can't seem to kill one or more of them then just leave them here and
come back later when you have a few more tricks up your sleeve.

Once you've gotten your nifty new energy bar, go back down to ground level
and jump up onto the crates up to an area with a lever. Walk onto the rising
platform and hit the lever with your boomy. You'll be shot really far up!
Try to land on the bullseye plant as always. What's that purple thing? If you
walk up to it Atea will notify you that it's the "forest rune". If you go up
to it it'll shoot onto Kya's belt and she'll get twice the mana capacity.
But you can't just get that and expect to not be put up to a challenge!

                 |- - - - - - - - - - - - - - |
                   BOSS FIGHT 1! Lava Monster
                 |- - - - - - - - - - - - - - |

This guy is hella easy. All you have to do is hit each of the six glowing
areas on his stomach with your boomy. You can also destroy the small lava
piles that he spits out by hitting them with your boomy. The bottom two
glowing spots can be taken out on the ground, but the upper four have to be
hit while on one of the rocks on each side of Kya. Once you've taken him out,
run down to the lift and ride it up to the Hunter's Domain.

  Hunter's Domain

After running a little bit ahead, you'll get a distress call from Atea. He's
in trouble somehow, somewhere, so we'd better hurry up and get going. Inside
to the right will be a shell elevator that you're gonna want to unlock.
Directly ahead will be a pack of Jamgut that you can't ride yet because you
don't have the birdcall. Finally, to your right will be a closed road with
no apparent means of opening it. So, for now, let's use the shell elevator
and make a trip back to Nativ City.

  Nativ City

You'll watch a cutscene showing a very distraut looking Nativ talking about
how the "hunter" got Atea. This hunter is one of the worst kind of wolfen.
You'll get the location of the hunter's dungeon on your map. This is where
Atea will most likely be. While you're in town, you're also going to want to
buy a Jamgut birdcall. You should be able to follow the arrows as usual to
the newest shop. The Jamgut birdcall will be in a shop uptown. It's 70
nooties, so you should be able to buy it. With the Jamgut birdcall in hand,
go back to the Hunter's Domain.

                  [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]
                         2e: Rescue Atea!
                  [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]

  Hunter's Domain

Immediately jump on one of the Jamgut. That's all you have to do. The Jamgut
birdcall is used automatically. Jump over the gate and ride through the
swirling torrent of rocks and other stuff. The Jamgut can simply squish any
little monsters that come after you and can also destroy any crates by just
ramming into them. Just so you know, the Jamgut can also destroy most fences.
:) The Jamgut makes riding through a large area like Hunter's Domain fun and
enjoyable, so enjoy it while it lasts. Eventually you'll come across two
wolfen. Simply ram them to hurt 'em. To get off to exorcise them, hold L2
and jump in any direction aside from straight up.

Shortly after taking out those two wolfen, you'll need to say farewell to
the Jamgut for now and climb up the vines. There will be an electric blob up
ahead, but you've fought enough of these to need me to explain how to take
them out again. :). Jump over and crawl under some vines and unlock the shell
elevator up ahead. Around the corner from that in a small tunnel-ish area
will be a frost monster. Take him out and up ahead will be a lift with two
weak monsters on it. Take them out with your boomy and ride the lift to the
top. If you're anything like me you'll be very very glad to see the amber
stone at the top. Once you're done recharging, walk over to the small white
section of bridge that keeps falling and coming back up. You'll need to jump
over to the other side very quickly, so try to time it right.

You'll see three wolfen ahead and Stuff will give you a little advice on how
to "rile them up". So, go ahead and do what he says. After a while, they'll
start beating each other up! Keep thwacking them with your boomy until
there's only one left. Then show him who's been doing it the whole time by
knocking him out. After that's over and done with, go farther ahead and
you'll see another small group of wolfen above you. Unfortunately, I wasn't
able to get this new tactic to work on these guys, so I guess you'll just
have to wait until you have another group of wolfen that are really close
to each other.

Farther up you should see another rock suspended by a rope. As usual, break
the rope by throwing your boomy at it and the rock will fall revealing a
bridge. Across the bridge and up the vines will be two wolfen. These guys
don't have guns, so go ahead and climb right up there and kick their asses!
Across the bridge will be another three wolfen. Once again, these guys don't
have any guns so if you think you can handle it, just run(or sneak) right up
and give em the ol' one-two.

Jump down at the end of the area and climb up the vines that should be to your
left. There will be two wolfen here that shouldn't pose much of a threat if
you sneak up. Down below will be a group of three. If you want, you can slip
down and try the boomy trick, you can attack, or you can mount the Jamgut
and run each of them down(my personal favorite). With your new Jamgut, jump
over the broken bridge that's to the right of where the Jamgut first was.
Keep running until you come to a lift. Stand on the white button and you'll
move over to the other side.

Jump to the other side and get off the Jamgut. Climb up the vines that are in
front of you and scope out your surroundings. Two wolfen are keepin tabs on
two of the areas between the crates. As soon as the red beam moves backwards
run down and duck to the left in the alcove. When the red light has moved far
enough ahead, go back out and run to the right.

When dealing with the second read beam, all you need to do is follow it very
closely until you can duck out to the right. Then wait until it's gone back
far enough so you can leave this section of the area. Press the button on the
wall with your boomy and be careful when you're fighting this tougher version
of a wolfen. He'll need 15 mana balls to exorcise! If you don't have enough,
try and remember to come back when you do.

Inside the little hut area will be the wolfen map for this area. Make sure
you grab it or you'll have a hell of a time trying to get the last few. :P

You'll also notice a ramp leading up to where the two wolfen with the red
beams were. Taking them on is pretty dangerous but necessary. Once you've
taken down one, run and hide so the second one can't get you. Wait for him
to go back and then knock him out.

Continuing on, you'll notice a bridge that only a Jamgut can jump across. By
hitting the target on the wall next to the door to your left, you can go back
and get the Jamgut you left waiting before climbing the vines on the walls
when you first got here. Take him to the broken bridge and jump across.

Unfortunately, the Jamgut is too heavy to ride the wind gust. So, leave him
on the lift, ride up the wind, and press the lever to bring your trusted
companion up with you. Make sure you watch out for the electric blob guy
though!

Mount the Jamgut and jump over the broken bridge. Flatten the ice monster
and dismount. See that door? Use the gust to the left of it to get on the
other side and press the button. With the door now open, mount the Jamgut
once again and ride through. On the other side will be a dog that will try
and grab Kya. If he grabs her he viciously shakes and bites her, which results
in you starting over behind a closed door. The way I killed him was by simply
making him run off the edge, so I'm not sure if there is another way.

Hop across the small gap to the bomb machine. The bombs that this machine
spits out don't have a time limit, so you can play with this one as much as
you want. What you're going to want to do is roll it along until you come up
to that broken bridge. Then, kick the bomb and when it is close to the rocks,
throw your boomy at it to detonate it.

Once the rocks are clear, jump across the broken bridge. You'll see a gap
with a bunch of mana balls in it. We can't use this yet because we don't
have the correct item needed. So instead lets go to the Hunter's Dungeon and
get Atea. To get there we're going to need to go through the blocked door.
Simply hit the target to get the doors to open.

Ride through with your Jamgut, hop over the natural fence and across the
bridge. Activate the shell elevator and grab the mana balls on the bridge
before going to the dungeon. Also, you might want to go back to town before
heading there, incase you want to buy something or check out any new shops
that may have opened.Follow the arrow and press the white button on
the lift. Exit the lift onto the new area and run ahead to a really odd
looking opening. Once you get close enough it'll open though.

Once through, you'll need to stand on your Jamgut and jump in order to reach
the vines that are halfway up the wall. On the other side you'll be able
to open the door. Remount your Jamgut and jump over the broken bridge. In
the next area with the suspended box that moves back and forth, you'll need
to stand on your Jamgut once again. When the box is near you, jump up and
grab onto it. On the other side will be a lever that'll let your Jamgut
ride over to your side.

To your right will be a large wolfen that you'll definitely want to take
out while on your Jamgut. After exorcising him, put your Jamgut on the wooden
platform(like the one he rode on just a second ago)and go back and jump over
the broken bridge. There'll be a ton of little guys that will be a piece of
cake to squish with your Jamgut. Climb up the vines and over the wall and walk
over the bridge that's covered in wind gusts(anyone else wondering where
all this WIND is coming from?). On the second wind gust is a set of floating
platforms with a bunch of mana balls on the last one. If you want them or
need them go for it, but if you don't get the hell outta there.

On the next side hit the lever so your Jamgut can come join you. Get on and
jump across one of the many prevalent broken bridges around here. This next
part is a little tricky. You'll get a little tip from Stuff which you should
listen to. Stand a little bit next to the box when you hit the target. I
had a hell of a time getting on it, so good luck!

Once you've gotten across and are on the other side, there will be a large
wolfen across the bridge. It's pretty easy to make him fall off, but then
again it's pretty easy for you to fall off too! If you have the green
bracelet, I just jumped on him and bounced off before he ran off the edge.
Cut the cord holding up the rock on the far end and go back to where you
were at first. Beat up the two wolfen guards down here and enter the hut.
The blue monster inbetween the two plant monsters will spit manaballs out
at you when you hit it, so use this to your advantage.

Look around until you spot the large tree with many manaballs circling around
it. Around this mana tree is a fire-spitting monster. These monsters spit
fireballs in groups of three and then take a break for a few seconds. Use
the brake to hit them with your boomy. Through the opening to the left of
the tree will be two more of these guys. You'll likely lose more health
fighting two, so if you lose too much remember that there's an amber stone
inside that shack out where you were a minute ago. Turn a bit and you should
see a bridge that's being held up by some rope. A fire-spitting monster will
appear when you get close enough, so take him out and cut the bridge free.
Go get your Jamgut and ride out to where you were before. You should see a
broken bridge. You know what to do when you reach a broken bridge on a
Jamgut by now, right?

There will be three wolfen in this new area, so take them all out with your
Jamgut. On one side of the building will be a large stack of crates. Crush
them all and jump off of your Jamgut onto the vines. Hitting the target will
open the gate and hitting the lever will open up one of the areas filled with
goodies. Go inside and get your stuff then hit the lever to the left of you.
It'll open up another. Once again grab the stuff and to open the final one,
you'll need a silver boomy. The silver boomy is aimable.

It's time once again to say farewell to your Jamgut. Head forward and jump off
him onto the vines. Grab the ledge and jump down on the other side so you
don't take any damage. Press the button to open the door and proceed to the
other side. You'll get a message from Atea telling you that he was thrown away
with what looked like... well, stuff you would throw away. Activate the shell
elevator incase you need to head back to town or somewhere else.

If you try to explore this new area, Atea will become very impatient, so I
guess it would be best if we went down to the sewers right now... Directly
to the right of the shell elevator is a sign that tells you this area
goes to the sewers. Jump in for a board ride down the sewer! Sometimes
hitting the opening and closing doors can be inevitable, so just try to be
going the slowest possible speed when you hit them. Everything is pretty
easy until you get to a spot where you have to choose to follow one of two
weird looking grates. Follow the RIGHT one. The left one leads you right
over an area that has no floor! Then, after a few seconds, you need to jump
over to the left because now the right doesn't have a floor. You need to do
this a third time as well...

Next you'll have to worry about lava and rocks. Try to slide on the opposite
side of the lava or rocks, which changes pretty often. You'll undoubtedly take
some damage here, and might even have to do it a few times.

  Sewers

Once you reach the end jump down(but watch out for the grates going back and
forth) and land on the bullseye plant. You'll come to another slide. This one
... it's definitely harder than the first, but I managed to get through it
on my first try. When you land, you'll see two familiar faces. The bird guy
will tell you to hit the switch, and when you do... well, he can't blame you
for it.

Jump up a few times until you get over the wall. Now you're in for a long but
easy float through this lava tunnel. Once you get to the end, someone will be
there.

    BOSS FIGHT 2! The Hunter

Things look kinda tough, don't they? Well, what you're going to need to do
is kick the bombs he throws that don't immediately detonate at him and throw
your boomy at them so they explode on him not you. Don't just run up to every
bomb though, as some of them immediately detonate. It can be a little tricky
to get the hang of, but once you know how to do it it's a piece of cake. First
of all, you need to take out the four circular objects on the basket. There
are two on each side. See them? Blow them up. Once they're gone, you can go
directly for the hunter himself. Once those objects are gone though, the
basket will start to breath fire. It can only breath fire directly ahead,
though, so all you have to do to avoid it is hide behind the rocks on either
side. It only takes three more bombs to take him out. Good luck!

Once you've take him out, an explosion will cause a bridge to form. Cross it,
and Atea will tell you that he has news about your brother! Open the shell
elevator and head back to Nativ City.

  Nativ City

You'll come "home" to thousands of cheering fans. If Kya hadn't proved herself
before, then she definitely has now. Atea will take you and explain that
Frank is being held in Brazul's laboratory. However, he and a few other
Nativ's have a plan for getting him back. Once you have control of Kya,
you'll need to buy the Magic Bouncers.

2f. Climb the Wind Tower to Reach the Quarry
           [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]

To get the magic bouncers, go up to where the Freefall 1 mini-game is. The
shop with them (and the silver boomy which I reccommend getting) is to the
left of that. The silver boomy has longer range than the boomy you've been
using.

Once you have your items, go back to the elevator room. Stuff will tell
you which one you should take, so take it!

  Hunter's Domain

You'll come back to the crossroads area from before. The green arrow points
to the wind tower/quarry area, so follow that. Once you're at the narrow
gap(remember it from before?) go inside and jump from wall to wall until
you're at the top. Go through both of the strange circular doors and open
the shell elevator in the next area. After walking a bit to the right, Stuff
will tell you that you "need to listen to the wind" to get to the top of
the tower. What he means by that is at certain times, wind will come out
of nowhere and start pushing you around. To climb to the top, you'll need to
wait for the wind to die down in certain areas so you don't get blown off.

After climbing for a bit, you'll come to a spot with a TON of vines. There
will be different forms of wind-blockers along these vines. Up the first
set, you should see some shutters to your left and half a rock to your right.
Wait there until the wind dies down(even if it hasn't started yet, wait there
until it does). Hop across to the next set of vines and wait by the rock
there. Go to the next set of vines, jump across to the ledge and wait down
there before entering the next place. You don't want to get blown off after
coming all this way, right?

Inside there will be a wolfen with what appears to be a rocket launcher.
Sneak up behind the two crates. Make yourself seen. He'll shoot into one
of the crates. Since he can't fire continuously, use this time to run up
and beat him down. To the left of where the wolfen was guarding is a button
in the floor. Press it to activate a lift outside. Get on it and use the
different wind gusts. You won't have any wind problems here so take your time.
Grab onto the vines and go across avoiding the spiders. Eventually you'll
come to another area that makes use of your new magic bouncers. Go up and
hide behind whatever the hell that thing is at the end there. @_@

Jump on to the lift and when the wind comes jump across to the other side.
Cut down the rocks and climb up the ladder that the falled box forms. Up
here will be a wolfen that's really easy to take out, but not very easy
to take out and not make him fall out the window... Try luring him away
from the window so you can still exorcise him. You should see a sign that
tells you where to go to get to the quarry elevator. Go downstairs and go
on the elevator.

  The Quarry

2g. Find the Entry to the Amber Mine
               [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]

Up ahead will be a monster that spits out mana balls. Use this guy as much
as you need. Even better, there's an amber stone next to him, so you can
replenish your mana supply after regenerating. And believe me, you'll need
all the mana and amber stones you can get around here. Walking along the path,
you should notice something. There's toxic gas all around you! Thankfully,
theres a plentiful supply of amber and mana around every corner, so you should
be ok. The amber stones also create a small radius of clean air, so you're not
losing as much health as you are regenerating. :-)

At the end of the road will be a set of hammers with flat tops that you can
jump on. Before you jump on the first one, go to the edge and look to your
left. You should see a small outcropping with two crates on it. There's some
money in both of those crates. Not much, but if you need it, I suggest riding
the first hammer when it swings back and then jumping onto the outcropping.
Once you have the money, use the net on the wall to climb back up to where
you were before. Watch out for the hammer though!

Once you have your cash, time it right so you get across both of the hammers.
In the next area, aim your boomy at the piece of fruit hanging above you
(to aim your boomy, hold R1). As usual, a micken will show up and munch on
the fruit. Roll him over to the bottom of the next level and jump on him
to get up. A few enemies will be here but as usual they'll be no match for
you.

At the edge of the cliff area when you're waiting for the spinning machine
to get to you you can take out all the enemies on the other side with your
boomy. This new silver one's got some range, eh? When you finally get
on, make sure you crouch when you go under a rock. Climb up to the next level
and after running for a second another one of those extremely annoying
dogs will come after you. What I did was let it chase me and then drop down
back to the lower level, but not all the way down. Just drop down and hang.
Chances are he'll go flying right off the edge. <:)

Farther ahead will be a shell elevator and another mana-spitter. This one
is guarded by two plant monsters but they're easy to take out. Past them
is a door that can only be opened by using 350 mana at once! You'll need
to come back here a little... well, a long time from now.

This place looks like some kind of wolfen stronghold... There's one wolfen
up ahead and a lava-spitting flying bug. Smack the bug with your boomy a
few times and go up and attack the wolfen.

Starting from the left(ignoring the obstacle you need a Jamgut for), the
first doorway holds a gun-toating wolfen and some crates. The wolfen
can't be snuck up on because he's marching in a circular pattern... So,
climb up the part of the fence on the building that DOESN'T have an electric
current running through it and follow the path. You end up at the top of the
building inside. Jump on the crate and use the net on the ceiling to get
across. There will be a while button here you'll need to press. This button
will release a set of crates that will let you sneak past the wolfen
below. In another shining example of focus and intelligence, the wolfen
doesn't even seem to notice the crates fall from the ceiling. Wow...

After sneaking across all of the crates, you'll need to press a button
to open the door. On the other side will be a small and large wolfen.
To the right of the first electric fence will be an electric generator.
You'll need a bomb to destroy it, but don't go rushing in just yet. Lure
the dog out and make a bomb come out with your boomy while you're waiting
safely on the outside of the area. If you can manage to time it right, you
can destroy the dog with it if he walks by it when it detonates.

With the dog out of the picture, take one of the bombs and place it next
to the generator. You'll see the current stop on one of the sides. Run
down to a door with two red circles on each side. If you hit them both
in a short amount of time, the door will open and you'll have access to
the King Jamgut! This guy can run a lot faster than a normal Jamgut when
you press and hold square. If you hit the switch, you'll find that you're
right next to the very jump where you needed one of these guys.

In this tunnel area, there will be a few of the same red-circular switches
you'll need to hit with your boomy. Instead of getting off the Jamgut
altogether, simply stand on his back and hit them. The last door will open
and shut very fast, so you'll need to make full use of the speed ability this
Jamgut has!

Once you're out, you'll notice a convoy leaving!

               [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]
2h. Follow the Cargo of Amber
               [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]

You'll need to catch up
to it if you want to get any farther. Plus, you'll have extra motivation,
because a giant rotitiller will be grinding things up behind you! You'll
need to climb aboard the convoy once you reach it. The ride there can
be pretty damn trecherous, for there will be quite a few crystals falling
from the ceiling and holes in the ground to dodge. At the end of the
convoy will be two red buttons that will open up the back of the convoy.
Getting on is pretty tough, so don't be suprised if you fall off the
edge of the world a few times... You'll notice that on the inside of
the convoy itself is a target. Hit that and then enter the convy via the
side entrance. I tried entering it with my Jamgut, but I couldn't get that
to work so I stood on his back and jumped in. Thing is, the Jamgut then
magically appeared inside... a glitch perhaps?

Anyway, once you're inside kick that smug wolfen's ass. Then, climb onto the
roof and press the white button. This will open a large door on the lead
wagon. Hop on in there and take out the wolfen. Climb up and on the top of
the captain's section will be an air canon. I thought to myself, "Why the heck
is this here?". I then fired it and discovered the wolfen in the front
cabin had died. Oohhhh....

Use your boomy to hit the target in the captains cabin. Once the train
comes to a halt, go out and look to the right of the large closed door.
Hit the target and regenerate if needed. The train has stopped moving
completely, so you'll need to go the rest of the way on foot. Attack the
large wolfen and ride up the gust of wind to unlock the shell elevator above.
Go back down and climb the vines to the right.

For the next part, you're going to need a new board. The next area where
you have to slide down is impossible
without the Speed Board. The Speed Board is in a shop that will not open
until you have seventy-five wolfen. If you don't have that many, use the
numbers on the shell elevators to find the places that have the most left.

One of the places that you probably haven't been to exorcise wolfen is a
large section of the Hunter's Domain. Go there and look at the map. A few
of these places with the wolfen are accessible by a Jamgut. Remember the
crossroads area here where there were three paths? Go straight forward in
this one (aim and hit the target to open the gate), put your Jamgut
on the lift, hit the electric plant a few times and then climb up the
cliff yourself. Up here there should be a few wolfen to exorcise. If there
aren't for some reason or if you already got them, try another area. There's
bound to still be a bunch here.

Once you have 75, go back to Nativ City and locate which store you need
to go to by looking at your map. The store you need to visit should have a
crosshairs-type thing over it. This store will sell the Speed Board that you
need! It's only 50 nooties, so you should have that unless you recently
went on a shopping spree or something. In that case try winning enough money
at one of the minigames as usual.

When you have your board, use the shell elevator to get back to where you
were before. A Nativ will be there and will explain to you that you need
to use your magic board to get up to where the cart full of amber is. Ride
the speed bumps and you'll end up flying VERY high into the sky! Land on the
bullseye plant and jump onto the cargo. Press square, and after a second the
Nativ will pull a switch. Hang on!

You'll wind up in what looks like the inner-area of the quarry where they
actually mine the amber. The entire place has an eery red glow from all the
mining lamps. Up ahead will be what Stuff calls a "Wolfen-zeplin". Run onto
it and stand on the green button to move forward and the x button to stop
the vehicle(if that's even what it is!) You'll need to utilize this
skillfully, as there are many different obstacles you'll need to avoid. The
two bullseye plants on the zeplin that are keeping it level are easy to pop(
as you should know) and if just one of them pops, you'll probably fall off.
However, if you can somehow manage to stay up long enough, it'll grow back.
Hey... What exactly is that green stuff on the bottom of the mine, anyway?

When you reach the end, a lone wolfen will take immediate notice of your
presence by alerting another one to come kick your butt. Well, do to them
what they wanted to do to you obviously. Farther along from the bomb machine
is an indestructable beast just kinda sitting there... waiting... You'll need
to use a bomb to destroy the rocks above it to kill it. But don't take a bomb
just yet.

Go up the ramp a bit and you'll come across a large wolfen. Exorcise him and
continue on. There are some boxes with money and a few mana balls here you'll
want to get first. Once you've done that, run down and get the bomb. You'll
need to kick it over the small gap in the ramp. Make sure to kick it lightly.
When you get to the end of the ramp, kick the bomb toward the large rock and
detonate it with your boomy. A large chunk of the rock will fall directly down
toward the monster, leaving the path for you a lot safer than it was a minute
ago.

Past the once indestructable monster is another zeplin. This one doesn't stop
though and has a canon on it. Hmm.. I guess the wolfen knew exactly what they
had to do, as should you once you take a look around. You'll need to fire off
a round from the canon at each indestructable monster's indestructable rock.
It's actually pretty easy. Well, easier than the last zeplin endeavor that is.
Kya can actually stay secured on to the canon without slipping if one of the
plants is destroyed. Also, don't forget that you can make the bombs shoot
farther by holding the square button and using the red bar as a judge of the
distance the bomb will go!

At the end of the "ride" will be some mana balls, more crates and a lava
spewing monster. Kill his ass and take the stuff. There is also a small group
of rocks here that need to be taken out with the air canon.

Through the rocks is... another zeplin. *glares at developers* This time,
the ride is very similar to the first zeplin you took except about five times
harder... no, make that fifty. I didn't even notice the two flames that are
nearest to the zeplin until they took me out the first time I tried this
area... *looks away in shame*

Anyway, yeah this place is pretty hard, but you'll get through it. I believe
in you, reader! When you've passed all of the flames, two giant tillers will
come out and pop your ship. No, you can't dodge this, so just let it happen.
You'll fall a long way, so make sure you land on one of the plants you were
formerly relying on.

If you thought the ride was over, you were dead wrong sucka! MORE FIRE! ...
The flames around this jewel-encrusted area don't stay on as long as the
ones before, so it's actually a bit easier to get around. At the end of this
joyride will be... another zeplin... Just kidding! Heh, you were ready
to strangle me through your computer screen I bet. Actually, there are three
wolfen here to exorcise, a rock to destroy and a really really deep hole
to fall down. After you've destroyed the rock, take the mana and hit the
red button on the wall. If you've been playing any of the Freefall mini-
games in town, you should be ok with this. Even if you have though, there's
still a LOT of things to hit here. Just like so many other things in this
game, you may die a few times but that doesn't make it impossible.

After a bit of descending, you'll come across an illuminated area with some
wolfen. Exorcise them. You may notice that there are even more wolfen
on an upper-level. Don't worry about this for now, instead continue
descending. You'll come across even more wolfen on the next level down. These
guys have sniper rifles though, so don't mess around. On this level is a large
lever. Before you do anything though, go to the right of the lever. This
air gust lets you go to the upper-tier area of the level above. Yeah, the
same area with the wolfen you didn't get to before.

Head back down after taking care of them and mess with that lever a bit. The
center position causes the fan over the hole to blow lightly upwards,
allowing you to float. The left position turns off the fan completely, and the
right position turns it on full blast. When it's on full blast, you can
get on the upper ledge where all these snipers are doing their sniping. These
guys literally kill themselves almost! I had two of them fall off and die
by themselves believe it or not. They also have to cock their rifles, unlike
the guys with the machinegun pistols from earlier. This allows you to get more
movement in. Still, getting close to them can be pretty dangerous, but it's
necessary if you're going to exorcise all the wolfen.

When you're finished, return the lever so that the fan is turned off.
Then, descend once again into the unknown. This is the hardest freefall so
far, so watch out.

At the bottom there will be a few spiders and an entrance to a slightly
lower area. Down here, jump over the spinning blades to the button that
deactivates the whole thing. Jump down and descend a little more. The Nativ
Aton will be back. He took a shortcut, saying that it was too dangerous for
you. More dangerous than that? I doubt it, but follow him anyway.

You'll wind up at the old refinery... and a trap. Whoops! Well, it was kinda
obvious that Aton was acting more than just a little suspicious... Now you
have a boss fight on your hands.

BOSS FIGHT 3! Brazul.

Brazul has a variety of attacks up his sleeve. Aside from the standard
punching and kicking, he has an ice attack and a very wide-ranged wind attack.
At one point during the battle, he'll even release poison gas on his own
daughter! And I bet you thought your parents were mean... He even went to the
trouble of taking out the heavy duty stuff(standing by the amber stone doesn't
help in the least). However, once you decide to regenerate using it, the small
amber stone activates the larger ones and they break off... ending this
extremely one sided fight for now.

Go down the path to the shell elevator and head back to Nativ City already!
Hey, they might have sold you out, but you can't blame them...

Nativ City

You'll come back to a very bleak Nativ City. The villagers will call out
to you to save them, and luckily there's a King Jamgut sitting right next
to you. Take the only possible path for as long as it'll go(remember to press
square to speed up) until you get near the zeplin. There should be a vehicle
with a cannon on it next to the ship. Get on and shoot at the cannons on the
zeplin that are firing at you. When a cannon is destroyed, the opening to
the porthole stays open, creating an area for you to climb on. Destroy
enough of these to make a path up the ship. Once on top, press the blue
button to release the captured Nativ's.

After a small cutscene describing this "forgotten island" Brazul was talking
about, you'll be back in a better-than-ever Nativ City. Those Nativ's must
work pretty quick!

To progress further, you're going to need the golden boomy, which requires
that you transform 110 wolfen! You might have quite a few more to get,
so let's go to an area with a few. Even if you already have enough Nativs,
this area also has something else you're gonna want to get anyway. That thing
is the Hunter's Domain Rune!

              [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]
                     2i: Hunter's Domain Rune
              [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]

Hunter's Domain

It's likely there's one area with quite a few wolfen to still exorcise
in the Hunter's Domain(check the shell elevator). In particular, the
area where you rid down to the sewer. Ahead of that is a large wolfen
fortress with quite a few un-saved Nativs(this is of course assuming you
didn't already get these guys. If you have, then just kinda skip down a
bit). Head all the way in here until you reach the area where you're
behind the snipers on the roof. The first red button you have to push is
easy to figure out(just hit it once) but the second one might trick you.
You have to hit each of the floating green balls circling around the red
button. If you hit one twice in a row, it will trigger the release of one
of those man-eating dogs, so make sure you do it right!

Outside the window there are some vines. Take the vines right to reach an
area with some new wolfen(if you haven't already taken care of the snipers
on the roof, they're pretty easy to take out, as is the large wolfen). Climb
up to the sectiond off area and drop down the hole. Out here will be a dog
encircling a bullseye plant. What you need to do to get rid of him is have
him chase you to the grinders to the left of the plant and trick him into
jumping into them.

After the dog is dead, stand on the white button and climb up the vine ladder.
Climb across to where the bomb machine and lift are located. Place a bomb
on the lift, activate the lift, and then place the bomb next to the stones.
Head down the hole in the roof and then head down the next hole in the next
roof as well. There will be a mana-spitting monster here that you will likely
need. Use him, and then head through the gateway.

There will be a pack of man-eating dogs here, so jump on the stacked crates
asap. Then, climb across the roof over to the other side. There's some glass
on the window that you'll need to break. Get in, and place a bomb next to
the un-opened door. What should happen is... the dogs will constantly try
to follow you through the closed door once you're on the other side. They'll
continue to do this the whole time you're in the room. By placing a bomb next
to the door, all of the little puppies should go BOOM!

Once those pirahna-esque K9's are taken care of, go ahead and open the door
by hitting the lever for easy access. In the next area will be another group
of extremely easy to take down wolfen. Take a look through the barred-window
on the large building here. Looks like a RUNE! I don't know about you but I
could really go for 50 more mana. To get inside, you're gonna need to roll a
bomb a very long way. But before we do that we should probably open up the
door with the rocks we need to blow up, eh?

Press the button by the door with the... well, with the button next to it.
There will be a ton of red trip-wires around here that will release a pair
of dogs at you. And you know you ain't gonna get very far if they're after
you in that small of an area. It took me a few tries to get across. Once you
do, head up the vines and take out the wolfen. To hit the target up above
to bring down the lift, aim your boomy up and hit it. Aside there is a roof
covered in vines that you have to cross. Time it right so the spiders don't
hit you! When you're across be sure to press the button. It'll save you a lot
of time if you fall down or die.

You'll notice a few sniper laser's going across the vines. Obviously, you're
gonna wanna avoid those. In the center of this batch of vines is a window.
Brake the window while your two feet are still placed firmly onto the ground.
Then climb over into it. There are three easily-taken out wolfen in here.
Don't jump out the next window because that's just back farther from where
we are. Instead, go out the window here with the button and press it.
Go back out and onto the little ledge. Cross over it and break the glass on
this side.

Inside the same area, there should be a window that led out to where you
already were before. From that window, jump over to the small area with the
vine ladder going up. Up the ladder on top of the building will be a wolfen.
Try to take him out here on the roof so you don't accidently knock him off the
edge of the world.

From the roof, scope out the area with the large wolfen walking around a large
area. Jump and ride the air over to it. Beat up the wolfen and press the button
near the amber stone. You'll see a wolfen press a set of buttons to get out.
When you come down here, you're gonna have to press the same buttons as he did,
or you're gonna wind up being a dogs lunch. Here are the buttons the wolfen
presses:

(in order)

(button # is from bottom to top)
(row # is from left to right)

2nd row, 1st button
1st row, 2nd button
3rd row, 3rd button
3rd row, 4th button
5th row, 3rd button
6th row, 4th button

Through the door will be the wolfen that ran out earlier and two buttons.
One of them opens a door back into the room you were just in and the other
opens up this area to the outside world. Now you can finally get one of
those bombs and blow up these rocks!

Under the rocks is a sewer pipe with a few nasty critters. By nasty I mean
filthy, not powerful. ;) At the end, climb up the vines into a room with
two strange doors. They have the same green circles as the red buttons from
a while back. The green buttons actually have two sides. One side is brown
and the other is green. When one of the buttons is hit, the buttons directly
to the left and right of it flip as well. You need to keep this in mind as you
hit them. To open one of the doors, make all the buttons green.

Inside the brown door is more cash than you could possibly imagine(about 1500!)
and inside the silver door is the Hunter's Domain rune! YES!

Trek back to where the shell elevator is. It's likely that the gate to the
little enclosed area here has opened. Take out the two wolfen and take a ride
on the canon if you ever need to get back over there.

If you still don't have enough Nativ's, then try going to Wolfen City in the
quarry or the area in the quarry where you used your Speed Board to chase
the cargo of amber. That place specifically has another new area opened up
that you should go explore. Before you go there though, you might wanna buy

Quarry (second button on the elevator)

                [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]
                            2j: Quarry Rune
                [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]

Fresh out of the shell elevator, you'll remember that little area to the
right if you went to check it out. Now that we have the speed board, we can
actually get through there! Go over there and press the button. Immediately
after doing that ride down hitting both speed bumps. You should get through
fine. Jump across the different floating ledges and look down. If you hit the
bullseye plant, all three dogs will fly into their respective traps! Sweet.

Walk up the uphill area. There will be a few wolfen here with rifles. Take out
the one you can get at and move over to the area with the two buttons to hit.
The one button that looks like a tree turns the suction on and off, and the
target makes it move. Hit both buttons and your prize will be... a micken!
Jump on the micken to get over the fence. Under one of the boxes will be a
button that opens the door out. If you're really nice, you'll roll the fruit
over to the micken.

But... with this next part, that act of kindness will kind of be forgotten.
Roll the micken over to where the two ice monsters are. It's the place with
all the flat-down ledges. Kill the ice monsters and jump up onto the cliff
with the red button with the micken. Try to do this so the wolfen with the
rifle doesn't notice you. Then you can just sneak up to him and kick him off.

After hitting the red button, you'll need to use you wall-climbing skills.
Jump off onto one of the side walls from the first ledge, and have Kya climb
up the wall and jump backwards. She'll land on the ledge that was immediately
above you. Remember that you need to press x to do this.

At the top there are some very heavy wind gusts. Make your way upward, using
the boxes of crystals as guards against the wind. At the top will be two
wolfen and a canon that'll shoot you... who knows where! Instead, continue
along the path. There will be a wolfen here. Take him out and press the lever.
Walk across the bridge and hop into the wind. To get up onto solid ground,
try diving deep into the wind and then letting it push you really high up.
This way you should be able to get on to the ground.

There are a lot of boxes up here as well as a switch. Hit it to open the door.
Go to the right and then hit the other switch. This will cause a tiller to
start up and two buttons will be revealed. Jump down and try them out.

After hitting the X, all of the junk will be shreaded up in an instant. When
you hit the target, large Tetris-like blocks of the stuff begin to fall. As
soon as the first block falls, jump onto it. Then, as more blocks fall, try
to climb up the newly-forming mass. If you get stuck or end up thrown off,
just hit the x and target and try again.

Once you're at the top, you'll have some overhead vines to climb, as well as
some shoving machines to avoid. After that you'll need to wait for the
circling ledge to come near you and then wait for it to bring you to the
next side. Climbing time! Go up the vines and you'll soon notice a square
of them is not there. It's kinda hard to get over to it, so if you fall down
try to land on the boxes just below. You can climb your way back up if you
fall near them. Make sure you hold the joystick left when trying to get to the
next bit of vine. Climb up the final piece of vine here and attack the wolfen
at the top.

There will be sort of an evolved version of the ice monster here. The canon
doesn't even phase him. Strange. Well, as long as you're on the canon use
it to destroy the rocks up here. Go up to the ice monster. Hit him a few
times with your boomy. WTF? He can be killed by the boomy yet not by the
canon. *glares at the developers*

Well, anyway, once you're through with him ride down the slide. Make sure you
watch out for spikes and pseudo-windmills while you're doing it. You'll
also have to avoid very large crates of amber and a bunch of tillers as well.
You'll be pretty happy when you get through that.

You'll wind up in a circular room with a shell elevator and a mana monster.
Use both if needed. Go down the corridor. Sweet! Another rune! Whoops... looks
like you'll have to beat up some wolfen to get it. I know what you're thinkin:
oh, some wolfen, big deal! Well, it is sort of. Sometimes only one will fight
while the others cheer him on, but once in a while they can gang up on you.
Don't be suprised if you get killed once by these guys.

Walk up to the rune. Feels goooood....

After all this, you SHOULD have at least 110 wolfen. If you STILL don't then
you obviously missed a lot! Sheesh!

Nativ City

When you have 110 wolfen, go to the shop in downtown and buy the golden boomy.
Even if you did blow a lot of the money you've gotten so far, it's only 100
nooties! There's also a 500 nooty silver bracelet.

                 [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]
2k. Go to the Air Post
                 [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]

Go to the shell elevator room in Nativ City and take the one that Stuff points
out. Go back up to the wolfen stronghold area and go up to the closed gate.
Stuff will tell you that you need a special object in order to hit the switch
on the other side. What did we just buy? Oh yeah, something that can do that.
Hold square to have Kya levitate the boomy. Then, move it around the rocks
and hit the switch with it. Head in and hit the floor switch at the end to
open the door.

Here, walk around the border around the rock and jump on the lift. You'll
watch a cutscene of things getting a little hairy, but nothing too bad...
hey, what was up with that constipated look on Kyas face at the end there
anyway?

Air Post

Open up the shell elevator here and take a look around. First, take the
path left. Opening up the little gate with the switch will release a monster
that is somewhat tough, but easily disposed of. With that guy out of the
picture, jump up and walk to the sealed off window-ish thing. Stuff will
tell you that you can reach the bomb machine by levitating your boomy. Have
you ever not done what he's said to do?

Did you notice anything else while you were levitating your boomy over that
area? Well, if you have a keen eye, you would of noticed the large number
of dogs on the other side. Head back to where you first arrived and go to the
right path.

There is a wolfen with a machine gun up ahead so remember to sneak. When he's
exorcised, go back and destroy the rocks. Quickly run back to where the guy
with the machine gun was and ride the gust o' wind and jump down onto the
canon. There are some stones covering up a target that you need to destroy.
Once taken care of, carefully make your way up. There are some snipers and
an electric monster here that will spot you if you just run non-chalantly up
ahead. First, take telepathic control of your boomy and hit the electric
monster with it to destroy him. Then wait for the right time to move ahead
without getting caught within the line of sight of the wolfens laser. Hit the
target once to bring the lift down and hit it again to bring it back up(with
you on it of course!).

Once up here, jump down over to the area where the guy with the rifle is. Try
to avoid knocking him off when you take care of him. Once you have, quickly go
over to the area where the other wolfen was and exorcise him. The dogs may or
may not come running back once you get the attention of the wolfen with the
rifle, but if they do and they decide to nibble on Kya, you won't have to redo
any of the exorcisms. This is a really tricky area of the game, so pat
yourself on the back once you're done.

Go back up to where the huge door is. Swing a right and take care of the
spider guy. Beat up the mana monster if you need any, and keep going ahead.
There will be a switch here, so do as you have done before and use the new
golden boomy to switch the switch.

There will be a little trolly going back and forth here with two wolfen on it.
As you can probably imagine, it's really friggin hard to get on the thing,
especially since they're both gun-toatin' mommas(or Pappas, I don't care to
check. Hey... I just realised... none of the Nativs or the Wolfen seem to be
female... unless they're all genderless and just lay eggs or something). So,
to remedy the situation, once the trolly has stopped on the right side, use
your boomy to hit the bomb machine. It's likely that one or both of the
wolfen will be blown off, so you may have to come back and do it again(or
jump off the edge of the area and do it again).

When on the trolly, get another bomb from the machine. Then place it next
to the rocks on the left end of the ride. Through the rocks are two spiders
that are best taken out by levitating your boomy at them. You'll likely notice
a door with two floor-pads next to it. Since you can't put yourself on both
of them at the same time(well, at least KYA can't!) you'll need to get the
micken thats trapped in the little cage to the left of the door. But without
any motivation, that roundass won't even make an effort to leave. So, cut
down a piece of fruit from the tree to the right of the door and place it
outside the cage. After hitting the target as fast as you can, the micken will
come out. Put the micken on one pad and place yourself on the other.

Inside the room will be a few rather deadly air currents. They'll cut you up
quicker than a crackhead who hasn't had their fill in a few days too many.
Find the little opening with the lift and ride it up. Hit the X and the
target. Then, ride the canon back to the blowers.

Enter the now open area. Stuff will tell you to hurry the damn hell up!

             [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]
2l: Use the Giant Cannon to Reach the Forgotten Island
             [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]

This part is actually a little difficult at first until you get what the
heck you're supposed to do. Follow the little circle of air that is pushing
you until you reach a ledge. Then, jump off the board up ahead to get up
to the next level. Hit the target up here and jump onto the wind. When you
come to the tillers, jump onto the board thats inbetween it and then jump
safely to the other side. You'll have to do this twice.

Once you're at the next spot, hit the button on the floor. Ride the cannon
and do what you did before and hit the target and ride the gust of wind. There
is another opening here with tillers inside, but there isn't a board in the
middle for you to land on. So, instead you'll have to wait for it to close
and jump off of that to get around it. Across from that is another one of
those crazy wind lasers that you need to avoid by jumping when it gets close
to you. Then, another tiller opening. This one opens and shuts by halves,
meaning that half of it will shut for a while, then the other half, then the
whole thing opens. Once you get past the final laser, get on the lift and
hit the target. You're home free, baby!

Through the dark opening, sneak up on the wolfen with the rifle. With that
guy gone, go and step on the floor lever. After a while, the wolfen inside
will happen to walk across the one on his side. Once he does, the door will
open! For being such a nice guy and helping, show him your appreciation
by turning him back to a Nativ.

In the next room, get in the cart and hit the target. Prepare for a wild ride!
Err... nevermind.

Once up here, Stuff will suggest you not make any noise and lay low. Well,
you can do that. Or you can just sneak up on the wolfen. Either one. Climb
up so you can see over the closed gate and hit the target with your
levitated boomy. The target is to the right on the other side of the door.
On the other side of the door is a wolfen and a dog. So watch out for him.

In the next room is another wolfen with a machine gun. Try to lure him
out because you'll have a hell of a time trying to take him down and getting
far enough down there to actually hit him. Inside the room he was originally
in is a large wolfen who is easily taken care of and a shell elevator incase
you need to make a stop in Nativ City or anywhere else for that matter.

In this room is also the same kinda deal we did earlier to open a door,
except with a dog instead of a wolfen. Wait on the floor panel like before
and wait for the door to open. To kill the ****er, break the glass on the
window near the shell elevator and lure him over there. Let him jump into the
darkness. Inside the dogs guarded area, head through the small opening and
ride the lift. Up here will be two electric monsters.

Ride the cannon to the next area. There will be a sniper here, but he's
extremely easy to take out. Just sneak over to the vines, climb up to where
he is, and grab his tail. Drop him over the edge. Viola! Instant dead wolfen!

This next area is a little strange. You need to hit the arrow on the side
of the car to make it move, but you also have to keep a bomb inside the car.
The easiest strategy for me was to go over there, get some wolfen in, jump out
and bring the thing back. Then, sneak up on them and attack them. On the
other side where the wolfen were you'll eventually come up to a wind gust.
Ride it to an open area and destroy the rocks here. Take the bridge across
and open up the shell elevator. Then, go to the left and open up the large
area by destroying the window. Throw a bomb in there to kill one of the
dogs, and then roll a bomb to the main entrance, open the door and throw
the bomb inside to kill the other. Climb up the vines and take care of
the wolfen.

Open the door here and go inside. Press the button to release the dog and
jump around so he ends up falling off the side. Guide your boomy around
to where the snipers are and activate the bomb machine. Nice.

Run along the ledge and jump off the sides at the end. Go through to the
bomb machine and exorcise the wolfen. Destroy the two sets of rocks. Down
the path the first set of rocks was hiding you can now hit the lever! But
don't do it yet. Instead, open up the door and go around to stand on the
floor lever. While you're standing on it, guide your boomy to hit the lever.
This will open up a new area!

This jungle-like area has a few baddies. Kill the spider guys and use the
mana monster if necessary. Climb up the wind-blown wall and proceed to
the glassed up window. You don't need to break it, the bad guys inside
will do a terrific job of doing it themselves! Oh, and by the way, there
are about six wolfen in here. I myself simply went in and took them all
out. I'm sure there's an easier way, but my way is more fun. :D

Follow the signs to the cannon and head inside. You'll arrive in one piece
amazingly.

Forgotten Island

             [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]
                   2m: Find Brazul's Laboratory
             [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]

To get across the lava area, wait for it to recide. Then, get ready for one
of the toughest parts of the game, the lava slide. This babys tough, so
you might want to just take a few pratice runs. You're either gonna want
to hit all the speed bumps or none at all. Depends on which you think would
be easier for you. If you hit all the speed bumps, its easier to avoid the
lava. If you don't hit the speed bumps, then you have less of a chance of
losing control of Kya.

Once you get your way through it, you'll have to freefall down a large
tunnell after some dancing lava. After that, you'll have to avoid lava
again! But the last time is really easy, you just have to make it onto
the land. Then, unlock the shell elevator. Look down onto the ground.
The lava consumes the area every few seconds, so make it quick! Once over,
a monster will attack. Kill it with your boomy and hop over to the canon.
There's a wolfen on it, but it's easy to take care of him. Walk up close and
he'll get off. Then, simply attack. Brilliant strategy, right?

Anyway, once you get on the cannon you should see some pinkish rocks that
can be destroyed. Hit them and go back. Stand on the cannon and hit the
target. You'll land next to another cannon. Ride that one as well. When
you step on it you'll get a fun little cutscene. A demented, fun little
cutscene that is...

Jump down onto the other side and hit the monster in the lava pool in the
face. Use his body to get across to the other side. Jump down in the next area
after the lava has receded and climb up the tower-like rock with the climbable
mesh on the side. Jump down again and eventually you'll come upon a pool of
lava with two monsters in it. Infront of them will be two walls that can
be jumped on. Get up on the ledge and jump over to the higher one. There's
a dog here, so try to get him to jump in the lava.

Down from there is an amber stone and a target that brings over a lift. Get
on and hit the target again. At the end, wait for the lava to recide and
go up the stone ramp. There's are 2 large wolfen here that's easily taken
care of. Use the bomb machine at the end to destroy the rocks down below.

Jump down after the lava has run back and jump up the opposing walls. Jump
on the micken twice to get enough height to get up to the amber stone. You
should spot a shell elevator around here. You can jump over to it. Cross
three consecutive monsters in the lava pool to reach it. After activating
it, look around until you see a wall covered in vines. Use your boomy to
take out the spiders on it and go over there when the lava isn't everywhere.

When on the vines, go to the top when the lava rises. Once it recedes again,
go down and around the electric things on the wall. At the end, jump off the
wall and over onto the bridge. Run around and jump up to the amber stone.
Next to it will be a cannon. Ride it to another viney area with more
electric plant guys. Once again go around them on the vines while avoiding
the lava and you'll eventually reach a pool of lava with a set of four
monsters you need to jump across. After that, you'll have to jump across
a few more.

Across the area with the large blue stone is a lava pool with a bunch
of purple blocks to jump across. These blocks flow with the lava, so try
to keep that in mind when jumping. It's actually pretty easy. Once you
get across and up the vines, wait for the lava to go down and pop a bomb
out. Roll it up to the rocks and destroy them. There's another shell elevator
here. Up ahead is a sign. To get to the laboratory, kill the lava monsters
on the left. Use the cannon. Hop across the platforms and use the next cannon
as well.

This area has two large wolfen melee attacking while one tries to pick you
off using huge rockets. The rockets are so big though that they sometimes
damage the wolfen attacking you! This can be a pretty annoying battle, but
it's not impossible. Use your boomy to destroy the stand the rocket wolfen
is on while at the same time carving yourself a path.

Inside this area is a wolfen with exceptional strength and HP, but below
average defenses. It'll take a while, but you can kill him. Hit the target
by the door a bunch of times to open it, and jump inside before it closes.
Ride the lift down... down... down....

Brazul's Laboratory

You probably could of guessed where we were from all the skulls and skull-
shaped objects to be found around the area. Run up ahead across the only
open bridge and prepare for a boss fight.

BOSS ! Frank the Wolfen

Because Frank has become about five times as large as Kya, he can slap her
around pretty damn easily. This is actually a pretty tough battle. Try
using the jump kick attack (X, Triangle, Triangle) and anything else you think
might have an effect. Try to guard often as well, especially when he starts
casting those huge circles of light. When he does that, he also has light
around him that makes him immune to any attack. Run to the end of either
of the bridges and he'll start throwing weird lasers at you. Run back at him
and he'll become attackable again. The first set of lasers he throws
at you can be jumped over, the second set can be ducked under, the third
simply have to be dodged and then after that he'll just start throwing
combinations of the three.

Once it's over, you'll get another cutscene. Unlock the shell elevator.
Frank seems at a loss for words at what he's seeing. :P Another cutscene,
and you're back in Nativ City. Now we need to find the rest of the runes...

Nativ City

Our next objective is to go to Wolfen city, but we need to find all the runes
first. And if you've been following this guide to a T, you'll know we still
need three. First, lets get the one found in The Roots.

               [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]
                         2n: The Roots Rune
               [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]

The Roots

Go down the slide we went on before. Look at the map and zoom in. See
that area where the track splits in two? Well, we need to go in the OTHER
direction this time! You should also see where the rune is on your map.

You'll come out near a shell elevator. The rune is in plain site! It's
also very easy to get! Use your telescope to look at the rune. Now,
look above the rune. Use those same symbols in order on the lock on the
door to get in. ... you HAVE bought the telescope, right?

On the other side, kick all three micken into their own net. Then,
climb the viney outcropping and ride a net over to the other side. Once there,
free each of the micken(and yourself) and kick the micken onto the scale. Then
stand on it yourself to open the door. Viola, instant rune! Well, there
are actually two wolfen here with rifles, but they're easy to take out. Ride
the cannon back to the other side and use the elevator.

Nativ City

Take the shell elevator to the Air Post. Press the first button and go.

              [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]
                         2o: Air Post Rune
              [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]

Air Post

Here, go straight up until you reach the lift with the target. You should
see a cannon next to it. Use it and you'll land on a path to the "dark
island". Continue along this path and you'll enter a dark room with a
gust of wind. This gust of wind is actually one of those wind tunnels you
have to navigate through. There are a lot of spiked gates raising and
descending, so be really cautious. It's a rather long tunnel, but since
there really isn't anything here that will instantly kill you, it isn't
that bad of a trip.

After heading through a short corridor, you'll come to an open area with a
shell elevator and the rune, being barricaded by a deadly energy field.
Stuff will tell you the obvious("Find a way to deactivate it!"). Take
the only open path, the road to the control room. There is a cannon up
ahead with a button that needs to be pushed. It can be kind of difficult
to get your boomy around the building and into the little tiny hole in the
side to hit it, but if you look around and scope out the best way to get
it in it shouldn't take very long at all.

You'll be launched far away. Jump down to the area with the two pressure
pads and the three tree monsters. There's actually a micken you can use to
open the door, but I actually managed to open it on my own by just running
across both really quick. If you can't get it that way go get the micken.

Inside this room is a window just begging to be smashed. Do so, and then hit
the bomb machine to take out a corner of your cell. Bust out and take down the
two wardens. Break the rocks up the ramp with the bombs and climb up. There is
a dog on the third level. The best trick to get rid of him is to climb up,
let him notice you, and quickly jump down as he's about to dive at you. That
usually gets him.

Up a few more levels is a wolfen with a missile launcher. He's easy to take
care of. Just a few kicks and/or punches. There's a laser on the next level,
but dodging those has never been hard. On the top level are a bunch of
bastards with machine guns... Grrr...

So instead, once you're at the top of the ladder, shimmy over to the vines
and climb the ceiling. Go all the way over and climb the ladder on the other
side. At the top will be a cannon... Hmmm... Just what should we do with
this... maybe take out those wolfen? Yeah, good idea. When down there,
hit the arrow that Stuff points at. Then, jump down onto the lower level
via the flimsy board at the other end. There will be a dog here, so lead him
into one of the traps. Use the cannon to return to the shell elevator. At
first, it will seem like dropping through that area is impossible, but its
actually a really short fall.

Run down to the end with the cannon(and the spiders) and use the cannon to
destroy the rocks over on the floating area. Use the gust of wind to get
over. Go across and take cover under one of the rocks from the machine
gun that fires at you. It's actually really easy to make your way across
to the lift. The rune will be in sight, but don't forget the wolfen that
was firing at you! After you take care of him, the rune will be ripe for
the taking.

There! Now we only have one rune left to get before we can continue on with
the storyline! Head back to Nativ City and take the only area left with a
rune, the Forgotten Island.

                  [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]
                         2p: Forgotten Island Rune
                  [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]

Forgotten Island

Use the shell elevator to get as close to the divided path(remember from
before) as you can get. It's the area in the lava where you have to choose
which path of dead lava monsters to go across. Go right this time and
jump onto the tall stone jetting out of the lava. Step on the button and
guide your boomy all the way through the tunnel and hit the target at the
end. This will open up the closed door. Go inside and climb up the
vines. Go down the path that is blocked by the crates. Head down and hit the
kegs of gunpowder to get inside the fence. Jump on the King Jamgut and
speed past the area ahead. Of course, wait for the lava to recede.

At the end where the wolfen on the cannon is, get off and jump over the
lava without him. Beat up the wolfen and use the cannon to destroy the rocks.
Then cross the next area on him. Jump up onto one of the crates and get off
at the end. Get back on the jamgut and go over the next area. You have to
do this over and over again until you get up to the rune(check your map!) Once
you're up to it, all you have to do is walk up to it and the rune is yours!
Yes! Finally, you have 350 mana! Head back to Nativ City.

Nativ City

Now, just follow the white crosshairs on the map to see which elevator you
need to take.

The Quarry

Obviously, you'll need to fill your mana all the way to 350 in order to open
the door. So, use the mana monster right next to it. Unlock the door, and
refill some of your mana before leaving.

                [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]

Wolfen City

As always, one of the first things you're gonna want to do is open the
shell elevator. Go down the path and sneak up on the machinegun-toting
wolfen on the dock. The two large wolfen farther ahead arent as easy to
sneak up on, but they're not much of a challenge to take on anyway.
Follow the arrow over to Brazul's fortress. There will be a wolfen up ahead.
Keep going and you'll come to a cutscene.

               [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]
                      2s: Escape from Wolfen city
               [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]

Use square to lure the wolfen over to get you out of your cage. Go through
the only open area and jump up onto the boxes and then onto the ledge. Grab
the bottom of one of the boxes that goes overhead and ride it into the next
area. Jump down and go across the bridge and crouch down by one of the boxes
so the wolfen don't see you. Then, go and press the bomb machine's button to
take care of them. To open the door, release a bomb and hit the switch when
the bomb explodes.

In this big new room, go onto the lift and press the switch. You'll need
to sneak past many wolfen here, so use the boxes to your advantage. Eventually
you'll come to a lift with some vines on the bottom. Climb onto the bottom of
it and ride it over to the other side. There will be a black wolfen over here.
Run past him and over to the diving board-esque thing. Jump down onto the
bullseye plant and reclaim your gear! Hit the rope holding up the rock then
hit the lever to get out. Then head back up and get next to where that
black wolfen you ran away from was. There is a floorpad/lever combo here that
you need to use to open a door. Inside, hit the lever to summon a trolly.
Get in and head down. Go through the area and take care of the wolfen.
HIt the floor lever and go through. There is a door here that looks like
you need to hit the floor panel and lever for, but I just jumped over it..

Ride the wind back up to the area where you were captured. Jump down to
where the broken cage is and release the bridge by hitting the stone that
is holding it up. There's a mana monster here, so use him if you need to.

Head over to this new area. There are a ton of snipers here, so watch out.
Through the door area, there will be two walls that you can jump off of.
Up here there is an amber stone and those pesky snipers. For a real
challenge, hit that bell a few times. A whole slew of wolfen will come
rushing in. The charged up boomy attack works well here.

Use the air canon to take out the blocks that are... well, blocking
the next area. Through here, you'll need to guide your boomy through
a tunnel to get to the next area. This is actually pretty easy.

Once through, head over to the area with the wolfen on the spinning
dial and the target. Hit this target a ton of times, and eventually
the wolfen will go flying off! XD It's pretty hilarious loooking.

Next you'll have to climb a number of vines and then make yourself
across a few different ledges that tilt depending on which side you
stand on. After you get across those, jump over to the side with the
wall covered in a viney-mesh. There is a black wolfen lurking in the
shadows over here, so watch out.

Over the vines, head through the door and jump onto a canon. Use it
to take care of the wolfen and if you can find that pesky dog, shoot
him too. After exorcising, head back up to where you first got on a
canon and head over to the two walls. Jump across each one until you
get to the top. Up here, you need to move all three micken onto all
three buttons. Then, get into the boxish thing and guide your boomy over
to the fruit hanging above the micken. Knocking all three down will
move you over to the next side you need to be on. Kill the electric
guy here and enter the small alcove-ish area. Go left and guide your
boomy through the two areas.

              [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]
                          2t. Stop Brazul
              [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -]

Open up the shell elevator here. Head back to town to get a cutscene. While
you're here, you might as well try to get as much stuff as possible before
the end. Then, get on the Jamgut and take out the four wolfen in the
immeditae vicinity. They're all on canons. Then, get over and hit the
bomb dispenser. Then, open the area. Put the bomb inside and step on the
pressure pad next to the door. Hit the target until the door opens and place
the bomb next to the rocks.

Through here, jump over past the area where you were captured and open up
the shell elevator. If you don't have any electric bombs, go back to
Nativ City and get some. While the thing is spinning, get on and hop over
to the other side. Try to take out as many of the spiders as you can before
hand, though. Then, on the other one, just jump from the one ledge to the
other. Walk around to the lift. Guess where you are?

Activate the final shell elevator. Then, fill up on mana. Through this next
area, you'll fight at least a dozen wolfen at once. Try using your charged-up
boomy on them. Use the guys with the missiles to your advantage. This entire
battle will be pure chaos until there are only one or two guys left. Luckily
there's a mana monster through that gate(hit the target a bunch of times).
After the mass exorcism, ride the cannon over to the next area. Hmm...
didn't quite expect that...

You'll fall through a trap door once you walk up to the door of the fortress.
Ride the sludge all the way to the bottom. Two walls will slowly close
together. Once they get close enough, jump off of each one to get to the top.
Then, jump up into the small opening in the wall. Did you walk in on them at
the wrong time? Looks like it...

BOSS! Aton

If you get hit by one of his missiles, it's bye bye humanoid form! Avoid the
missiles at all costs. Try to get up close and personal so you can fight him
normally. The charged up boomy works pretty well. Overall, he's not that
difficult if you can avoid the missiles.

A cutscene will play. After that, watch out for the falling crystals and
hop along them until you reach the top area. Walk around and climb up the
... pink mesh. Pink?! o_O

You'll then have to ride up the spire-like are on your magic board. After
that, you'll climb a little more, then ride a little more. Wash, rinse,
repeat. Once at the top, you finally get to fight Brazul. Plus, you get
a lot more mana.

BOSS! Brazul

Remember when we fought him last time? Well, he has all those moves, plus
a few more. He can now shoot a gun-like fireball at you. Plus, he can
shoot multiplue arcs of electricity. He easily has the most health of any
enemy in the game, so you're gonna have to beat him down a LOT. After his
health goes down a bit, he'll start...smoking? I'm pretty sure that's whats
going on....

Ater you defeat him, Kya will give a farewell kick to the face to her dear
old dad. How nice.

Nativ City

Kya will come back to a cheering crowd. When you want to end the game, go
over to the altar.

You've completed Kya: Dark Lineage! Yay for you!

Kya is the main character of our game. She's a spunky fun-loving girl from the
city who's not afraid to tackle any challenge, even if it is saving an entire
world from enslavement and destruction.

Frank is Kya's half-brother. He's the one who discovered the secret room that
eventually caused them to be transported to this different world. Not quite
as daring as Kya.

[This list of mini games is in no particular order. :)]

========================
   Klaustrophobia
========================

Location: Downtown

In this game, you have to advance down a wind track for as long as you can
all while avoiding hitting any obstacles or hitting the lava. Steer with the
joystick and press x to descend.

Possible Bets: 10, 15 and 20 nooties.

========================
   Dinner's Ready!
========================

Location: Uptown

Someone decided to make dinner in the micken sty for some reason, and you
gotta keep them from eating it! Kick the micken away from the fruit. Try
to do this as fast as possible, because these guys can be quicker than you'd
think.

Possible Bets: 15, 20 and 30 nooties.

========================
   Right Choice
========================

Location: Uptown

In "Right Choice", Kya is placed in front of two rows of moving targets. There
are wolfen and nativ targets. You need to try and hit as many wolfen targets
as you can while avoiding the nativs. Hit three nativs and you're out! After
a while, the targets begin to move, so watch out for that!

Possible Bets: 10, 20 and 30 nooties.

========================
   Speed Racing
========================

Location: Err.. in between? (down a slide in Uptown)

In Speed Racing, you gotta try and race really fast. I know, it's a mind
blowing twist and you would of never expected that from the title of the
game. You have to try and beat the best time. Jump on every bump you can
and occasionally you should be able to take a shortcut by cutting corners
in certain places.

Possible Bets: 5, 10 and 15 nooties.

========================
   Boomyvision
========================

Location: Uptown (can be reached by climbing vines in Downtown)

Here, you have to recreat a sequence of fireworks by hitting the right colors.
It's just like Simon says, but different because you don't really have to
remember anything since the color sequence is right in front of you the
whole time. This game requires a good eye and a quick trigger finger
rather than a good memory.

Possible Bets: 10, 15 and 20 nooties.

========================
   Freefall 1
========================

Location: Downtown(technically)

In Freefall, you fall through a bunch of holes in the ground and some areas
with planks made to try and slow you down. You can press X to make yourself
descend faster. Other than that it's pretty self-explanatory.

Possible Bets: 10, 15 and 20 nooties.

========================
   Speed Racing 2
========================

Location: Uptown

Speed Racing 2 is a lot like Speed Racing 1 (suprise suprise) except it's
all above ground(it goes all the way around Nativ City) and utilizes the
speed-ups. Obviously, you'll need the Speed Board to play this mini-game.

Possible Bets: 10, 20 and 30 nooties.

                     [ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ]

Before you get started on capturing anything for the zoo, you'll need to buy
some trap bombs. They can be purchased at a shop in Uptown near the Zoo. 50
nooties gets you a five-pack.

                                  Item List

==============================================================================

1. Regular Boomy

Kya's first boomy(unless you count the one she had in the intro movie). It
costs 10 nooties and is a very good buy, considering you can't get very far
without one in this game. It's kinda slow, doesn't have much range and doesn't
have anything special going for it, but hey, you get what you pay for.

2. White Bracelet

This is Kya's first bracelet. She'll get some pretty basic moves from it, but
hey, things would be a lot harder without it at the beginning. Personally, I
used these moves the most of any bracelet simply because they were the
easiest to remember and were usually the easiest to execute.

3. Yellow Bracelet

This bracelet gives Kya the ability to guard and perform three other, more
complex attacks than the ones in the white bracelet.

4. Green Bracelet

The bracelet of throws. This bracelet gives Kya the ability to throw and
grab her opponents and attack them in various new ways.

5. Blue Bracelet

The blue bracelet lets Kya dodge an enemy's attack as well as perform some
new devastating attacks.

6. Brown Bracelet

The brown bracelet doesn't give you as many abilities as the previous few,
but you still get the power up ability and the all-powerful boomy storm!

7. Black Bracelet

The last bracelet Kya will get. It's the most expensive yet gives her the
least amount of abilities or attacks of any bracelet. All you get for
your money is the ability to do a counter-attack.

8. Silver Bracelet

The silver bracelet is very well worth the high price. It increases Kya's
strength by 10%, effectively enhancing every single attack you have and will
ever get!

9. Magic Board

The very basic board you buy near the beginning of the game. With it you
can go at very high speeds and jump over obstacles with x.

10. Speed Board

The speed board reacts to Acceleratos, plants that grow on tracks that allow
you to go faster and higher.

11. Climbing Gloves

With these, you can climb on all kinds of surfaces. Well, mostly vines.

12. Magic Bouncers

The magic bouncers give you the ability to push off of walls to reach high
up areas.

13. Telescope

With the telescope you can look around anywhere you want to. You can also
zoom in and out, allowing you to see what you normally wouldn't be able to.

14. Jamgut Birdcall -

While I'm pretty sure the Jamgut isn't a bird, this call gives you the ability
to ride a Jamgut. No, you can't call them. So... the Jamgut isn't a bird, and
this "birdcall" really doesn't call anything. Amazing.

15. Receptacle

The receptacle holds the runes that you find. When complete, it will form the
medallion that will open the passageway between the two worlds.

16. Silver Boomy

A much better weapon and tool than the basic boomy, the silver boomy can also
be aimed precisely at any target by using R1 and square.

17. Trap Bombs

These are traps that you can use to trap animals that the zoomaster wants
you to collect. You can get some pretty good $ from collecting the animals,
so it's a good idea to buy a few of these. Come in packs of 5.

18. Strength Fruit

These pieces of fruit enhance your strength for a limited amount of time.
Can be bought for 50 nooties.

19. Invincibility Fruit

Does just what the title says. They make you invincible for a limited amount
of time. Can be bought for 50 nooties.

20. Life Fruit

Not near an amber stone? Out of mana? Then eat one of these! Can be bought for
50 nooties.

21. Electric Bomb

For when punching and kicking just don't cut it. Can be bought for fifty
nooties.
