Part I  The Frozen Lands

Get pendant from village elder
Walk up (not right) to frozen lands.  Walk up again to bridge.  Talk to the hunter.
Move shoe cursor to the right and click on walk to Weldas house.  Do not walk on
the bridge.

There are several items here you dont use or need in the game i’ll leave it up to you to take them or not.

Use door (on house near cat), when the cat turns into a ghost, use the pendant on the ghost and it will disappear.

Go inside and talk to Welda, get the bag of seeds and leave.  Go to the cellar next to the house by using cellar door, and walking to on small screen inset.  Get the rope and the stauette in here then leave and go back to where you saw the village elder.

Save game as and when you feel it is necessary to do so, its important to save often otherwise when you get killed you have to restart!!!  I’ll leave it up to you when to save but let you know when I saved.

Walk right to the frozen lands, then walk to frozen lake.  Look at chair, examine chair, talk to Spirit, and get orb.  Walk to the edge of the forest.

Talk to well dressed gentleman and give him the statuette, he will then let you pass.  Walk right to forest path and save game if you like.  Walk to path of sculptures.  Get rusty shield (by looking at object sticking out of snow, examining it and taking it).  Look at fallen soldier and examine him, talk to young boy.  Walk up to path.

Talk to Drimm, look at and examine tree stump, use lever, there is now an opening in the large tree.  Go inside.  Look at and examine all three skelentons and you will find a ring.  DO NOT WEAR THE RING.  Just take the ring and save game, then wear the ring if you want to see what happens!!  Try to take some fruit for a laugh.  Go up.

Use the bag of seeds on the crow and get the pearl necklace from the nest.  (This is the necklace the well dressed gentleman is after).  Save game if you like to be on the safe side.  Walk to forest path, then to the crossing.

Look bushy path, go bushy path, you have to be quick here, use bushes on the right, so you can hide from the giant that comes out.  When he goes off, enter the giants home by using the small hole.

Once inside look and examine the pillow to find a small key, use this key on the chest to the left, take one flask of oil, thats all youll need here so exit after having a look about.

Go back to crossing and try to go right, you will be stopped by some men, after talking to the leader and telling him you are off to kill the ice giant, give him the ring, he will die and the others will run away.  Look, examine the dead man and take his scarf and his knife.  Use the scarf on the shield.  Then go down to forest path, dont go right yet.

Walk to the well.  Talk again with hunter if you like.  Use the long rope on the well, use the rope to go down the well.  Use the orb for a light.  Talk to the orb for a long conversation!!  Examine the dirt and get the piece of clay tablet.  Go right and repeat process to get other piece of clay tablet, then join the two pieces together.  Get orb and leave via the rope.

Go back to where you saw the Spirit and return her orb, leave and return to see the ship renewed, ahh how sweet.

Give the necklace to the well dressed gentleman for some gloves, then use the gloves to get the fruit, only one piece needed. Save game if you like.  Then go to the ravine.

Use the clay tablet after talking to the rocks.  Go right to the top of the ravine.  Look, examine dead body and get sulphur stick.  Go to the castle.  Talk to the ice giant.  Use the oil flask on the ice giant then the sulphur stick.  Go inside the castle.  Use shield and then talk to the bird, give him the fruit and off you go to level 2.

Part II - Land of Mists

Save game. Talk to the lizard guard.  Walk to swamp path.  Look under bridge and get dead possum.  Give possum to lizard guard and get horn.  Look, examine horn, use ear plugs.  Go back to swamp path.  Walk up until you meet the woman playing the drum, get the hypnotic drum (earplugs protect you here).

Walk to spiders platform.  Use horn on spider, look, examine skeleton, get key.  Go back to lizard guard.  Use hynotic drum on Quickthorpe to make lizard guard go to sleep.  Look, examine guard and get key, get lizards spear.

Use key on tower and enter, get axe, book behind curtain, wool blanket, and use key found on skelenton on the cage, talk to Iris and get magic powder.  Leave tower and go to the mountain path, and stairs of mists. Get red flower on the rock and vase filled with water.  Use the broom handle to go down and see an area of the game you will visit later if you like.  Go back up if youve gone down, save the game if required and go up to the city.

Walk to top right hand stone and use powder on vase to get rid of Alladin looking genie!!  Use axe on gatekeepers shed, enter search hay and get coins, leave and use the stones that will make musical noises, to open the large gates.  Use in this order, top, bottom left, then bottom right to open the gates.

Walk inside city and enter door to right, the library.  Give the red flower to Izion, talk to him, then give him the book you found in the tower.  He will then give you two keys, the smallest of which opens the lock on the gargoyle, the other is for the jewels to go inside.

Use small key on the lock (this is a bit picky, you have to have the key in your hand, then look at the lock, a small screen will come up, then use the key on the lock).  This will free the gargoyle.

Next enter the other door to the small house, talk to the dad, then talk to the kids and take the lollipop.  Leave and talk to beggar if you like, it wont help you, but you can give him a coin and here his boring stories if you like.

Save game and enter the temple, kill the snake demon with the lizards spear and look around for the diamond and the coins.  Leave and walk to the balloon ship.

Talk to the captain about the Engulfed Forest until he kicks the young cabin boy, then give the boy the lolly and he will change the register for you, then give the captain your coins and you are off.  When the ship stops save the game and enter the cabin.

Get the magic parchment, socks, look examine the bed for a hairpin, use the hairpin to bend it, use hairpin on box near the chest and get magic stone.  Leave cabin and use the hold.  Go down the hold and get the raw steak from the left barrel, open the fuel tank and use steak on gunk inside, use gunky steak on socks.  Save the game here, leave the hold and jump in the sea for a laugh.  Return to previous saved game after shark eats you, and give the shark the sock, he will die.

Use the magic stone on yourself and then use the parchment, and jump into the sea, you will go to the Engulfed Forest.

Part III - The Engulfed Forest

Talk to the sea horses, be friendly.  Keep an eye out everywhere down here for oyster shells and when you see one, use the knife to open it and take any pearls you find, you need to find three pearls.

Save the game whilst you are here.  When you come across the siren ignore her or she will make sure you fall and die.

At the shell talk to the gardener, try and enter the door, the tortoise wont let you in until you have the three pearls so return when you do have them.  There is a hidden path where you entered this part of the game, go there to find a pearl and talk to the guard there.

Once youve spoken to the guard go back to where you entered the game and talk to the seahorses again, politely to get some kelp, then go to the largue building (engulfed fortress), and give the kelp to Leroy.  Dont touch the electric eel for obvious reasons.  Get the spade, and return to the tortoise, give him the three pearls you have found.  He will give you a map, go back to your entry point, look at the map, and use the spade at the point where the cross is marked, its just to the right of the path.

Get King Thuts treasure by opening chest with hairpin and then take the treasure and give it to Khor (the guard of the cave).

Get Khors spear and enter cave.  Then follow below instructions carefully or you will get lost, when you enter the cave (deja vu eh), save the game then enter the tunnel on the left.

Once inside the tunnel :-

Go Up, Right, Up, Right, Up and talk to the old man of time by using the right device driver, you will learn that he requires the jewels, trust him at your peril!!!

Then go back to the entrance by reversing the above, ie down, left, down, left, down.

You will be back at the entrance if you go right again!!!  Anyway stay where you are and go:-

Left, down, left, up, up, right to get a crowbar, then repeat the opposite to get back, then go left, down, left, left, up to find a door.  Use the crowbar on the door, save game and then enter.

Talk to the gorgon if you like, then use the spear on the cosmic window to kill her, get sapphire and use control switch on the right, this operates the elevator and makes it go down instead of up.  Remember this room as you will need to return here at the end of the game.

Go to the elevator by reversing directions ie (out of door then down, right, right, up, right) then right to go out to the elevator.

Use control switch to go down.  Save game.  Use wool blanket to go down to next part of the game.

Part IV - The Land of the Shadows

Save game.  Talk to the gates (use boogieman to get in). Enter and the guards will take you to a cell.  Get the cup and the spoon.  Use the spoon on the floor ramp, then use it again on the small screen that comes up, (loose stone).

Talk to the fellow prisoner, until he dies then look, examine him and get key.  Go back to your cell and use this key to get out, again picky process of using on door then lock.

Once out you can safely talk to the guards and ask for an id card, then go down to the left hand side of the screen and exit. Save game just in case here.

Use spear on Quickthorpe to cross the gap in the bridge.  Then walk along the edge until you come to the grim reaper, talk to him, give him id card.  Use the cup in the river Stynx and then use the hell rail.

Save game before visiting Chax, the end monster on the next screen to the left.  Then go kill him, use the cup on him and thats that.  Get the final stone, the ruby, its up on the right hand side.

Then enter the empty catacomb on the right hand side to get back to the elevator.  Use the elevator to go up. Save the game here.

Here the ending choice is yours, but the only way i have found to end the game without dying is written below, if anyone has found another ending can they please email me and let me know!!!

One ending I know of is by giving the Mecubarz key to the old man of time, but no matter what you say to him you always die.

The true ending, as far as I know is detailed below.

Go back to the room where you saw the security port and telescope, and cosmic window, if you’ve forgotten how, from the entrance to the tunnel its, left, down, left, left and up.  Once inside the room use the telescope.  Then use the Mecubarz key on the security port.  Save game here as you have to be quick once inside.  

Go inside the security port and press the red button in the middle chair, then use the chair quickly, and sit back and watch, what I thought was a miserable unhappy ending to a brilliant game.

Anyone else have any thoughts on the ending, its rather depressing dont you think??
