This game is really good! Nice music, nice graphics, great sound, and with
an EXCELLENT storyline, it's a really great game. I would recommend to you
that you buy it from a dealer that you always go to and ask for a discount.
Believe me, if you're an RPG fan (you should be), this is a game you
really DON'T wanna miss! BTW, just in case I haven't told you so, this is
a WALKTHROUGH.

Walkthrough
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ

After the cool intro, you'll get to name the hero. I'll use the default
name for him, OK? When he reaches the Genesis Tree, the Elder will come by
and talk to him. Say Yes when he asks the question. After you finish
talking, go back out of the valley. The controls are:

L2/R2 : Display HP, it seems...
R1 : Run
L1 : In World Map, brings up map
Square : Nothing
X : OK/Run button
Circle : Cancel button
Triangle : Go to the inventory

Once out, proceed and a door will open. Mei will come out and start to
measure you. Whatever you answer, she will still measure you, so just
agree. When she goes, go to the house on the right of you, and enter.
A scene will show your sister, Nene, asking Mei some 'private' questions.

Then you come in, and Mei will start measuring you. When she's done, go to
your cupboard and open it to gain a Healing Leaf. Go to the beach, and
talk to the old man on the left side. He will talk to you, then give you a
couple of choices. They are:

"I want to hear about Biron."
"Teach me the secrets of fighting."
"I want to practice with you."
"Nothing in particular."

If you want to hear about Biron, pick the first choice. He will explain
what the Birons are. To continue, pick the third choice, and a tutorial
battle will start. Become familiar with the controls, as there is going
to be a tough battle later.

When you execute the Somersault, the battle will end. When you finish,
the hunters will return, but bringing bad news. Juno has died. Mei will
come and show her voice of anger and sadness. The scene will then show
Nene and your Dad, Val.

Back in Mei's house, agree to whichever choice you are given, because
the results will still be the same. Don't bother opening the cupboard,
there's nothing in there. Talk to Mei, and then leave. Go back to your
house, and talk to your father to sleep.

In the morning, you'll be waken up by your father's shaking. Agree to
check the sound for him. Go outside, and save at the upper-right house
with the cave-like entrance. Go and talk to the Village Elder (old man in
brown shirt), and he will talk to you for a while.

Suddenly, Zeto will appear. He summons a beast behind the Wall to break
it, and some Seru's jump in. You'll now have to fight it.
__________________________________________________________________________
Seru Estimated HP: 110
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
He's quite tough, but overly OK. First, try to use the three first Hyper
Arts shown above. Do it a few times, if it isn't enough, then use Spirit
to prolong your normal attack rate and do a four hit combo, with the
fifth after an Arts move.
__________________________________________________________________________

When you kill it, travel around town killing every single Seru which isn't
attacking a person; meaning a Seru which is by itself. If you enter a
house and exit, the Seru will be there back, so use the Seru to gain
experience. Also, if you enter the Weapons shop (middle-right), talk to
the woman, and pick the second option. She will give you 3 Healing Leafs.

However, your main objective now is to reach the Genesis Tree. Once there,
talk to the woman. The Genesis tree will call you, and speak to you. Go
back out, and to Mei's house. Ask her to go to your house. In your house,
speak to your father, and he'll ask you to call everybody to the Genesis
Tree.

Back at the valley, talk to the Genesis Tree. Witness the cool special
effect when the tree revives. The Genesis Tree will automatically dispatch
all the enemies. After that, Vahn falls down, tired.

In the next scene, you'll see the workers push the coffin of the dead
people into the sea. When Juno's coffin turn arrives, Mei follows the
coffin into the sea and goodbye's her dad. The scene ends when a mom and
son talk about the Valley of Naoru.

Going on the quest for the Mei's mother...................................

When the Village Elder asks if you want to hear the story, say Yes. He'll
then tell you about Maya, Mei's only possibly-still-living bloodline.
He'll tell you where you may possibly find her, the Biron Monastery which
is now covered in mist. When he leaves, you'll have full control of freedom
in the town.

If you want a weapon and have enough money (if you fought enough monsters
just now you should have about 1400G) to buy a weapon and some armor in
the Weapon Shop. If you need explanation on the armor, talk to the man on
the left side.

When you're done, exit the town, but Mei will come to your side, and give
you your hunter clothes. After a few talking scens, she'll give you her
pendant as a token of rememberance. Equip your Hunter clothes, and you're
off!

In the World Map, go left, until you see a pool of water. Head in, and
some other adult hunters will greet you. Just answer anything when he asks
you. They'll then introduce you to Lezam, an envoy of King Drake from the
Drake Kingdom. Agree to help him.

In this place, talk to the other hunters for some advice, while one will
give you directions on how to go to the Biron Monastery or the Drake
Kingdom. Also, going to the fountain for a drink will comepletely
reenergize your stats, so you can gain some levels here. Going up to the
to-left will bring you to four knight-like statues of different color,
where each statue represents a different tutorial. Read on to understand
what the game is like.

Exit this place, and gain a few levels, since the next place's gonna
be tough. Go follow the road, until you reach a section of the place
where the Mist is circling it, and you can see a castle. Enter. In the
lawn, go right and pick up the Door of Light on the right that you might
use later.

Proceed in, and go forward, up the stairs, until you reach three doors.
Go into the right door (there are left, middle, and right doors) and look
at the shining thingy. Take the Sunrise key, and go to the door in the
middle. Use it and the gate will open. Go upstairs.

If you go to the door, the Lightning gate won't open. Go left, and up and
pick up the Healing Leaf in the chest. Go down, into door. Go to the right,
and take the shining thingy which contains the Lightning Key. Go to the
door and use it to go upstairs.

Once upstairs, going to the left door brings you to a chest with a Survival
Knife in it. Go to the right door and pick up the Star key at the shining
thingy. Go to the middle door and go upstairs.

Go left, and down into the next hall. Go into the door in the middle,
and you will arrive in a BIG hall of some sort. Go up, until you find a
door on the left. Go inside, and inspect the chest to read King Drake's
letter.

Go to the top-right corner, and look at the shining thingy and take the
Mountain Key. Exit, and go back to the locked gate in the main hall,.
Use it, and go upstairs, and you're outta this place! You will be meeting
a new character soon.

Go and follow the route until you reach the mountain. Meta will talk and
and ask you to proceed quickly to the top of the mountain. The scene will
then change to an SD-form of a girl. You'll get to name a girl by the
default name of Noa.

Her dog, Terra will talk to her. You'll get to control her. Follow Terra,
and answer these when he asks a question: Seru and human, Genesis Tree,
Mt Rikuroa. Follow him, and you will be able to fight some Piuras. Any
Piura is normal, except the Black Piura tends to defend an attack more
than the Red Piura. After every battle, go back to Terra and have him
lick your wounds to heal back your HP and MP.

After defeating 3 Piura's, talk back to Terra, and he'll ask if you want
to go back to the camp and eat. Say Yes. Suddenly an earthquake occurs,
and the Mist will come in. Go back to camp, and Terra will tell of the
Seru, and how to escape. Follow him.

Go top-left, and follow the route. Pick up the Healing Shroom on the way.
When you reach the end, you'll have reached outisde. Go straight until you
reach the other mountain, Mt. Rikuroa. Go up to the top. BTW, don't worry
if you're wounded in battle, because Terra will heal you when you're HP bar
is yellow.

Chest on the way up the mountain contains a Healing Leaf. Save at the
Memory Statue, and continue on. A stalactite suddenly falls down. The
chest in front contains the Scarlet Jewel. Follow the route down, and
another stalactite falls. The next chest has a Power Water. When you reach
the exit, a monster will come out. In order to exit, you must defeat him.
Touch him to fight.

Golem
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
In the beginning of the battle, use Spirit to enhance your combo bar. Do
the Rushing Gale (as explained at the FAQ [Arts] section above), and top
of the last move with a free kick. Golem can use the Jagged Earth, and it
can cause tons of damage, so beware. Just keep attacking, and he'll lose
pretty soon. When he dies, he will drop the Guardian Water.
_________________________________________________________________________

The cave will start to collapse. Go outside quickly. Terra will praise
you, then he will reveal himself as a Ra-Seru (think you've knewn about
that from the start, haven't you?). Follow the green route down. On your
way up, the chest there contains a Phoenix. Save at the Memory Statue.

Go right, and you'll reach the Genesis Tree. Before Terra is able to do
anything, Zeto suddenly comes by. He calls Caruban, a Seru with the head
and body of a lion but the wings of an eagle. It (he?) will attack Terra.
The scene changes back to Vahn.

As Vahn, go up the mountain. Follow the straightforward route. Pretty soon
you'll reach a T-Road. If you want some items and a stronger weapon than
before, go right and I will guide you, otherwise, just skip this paragraph
and read the [Left].

[Right]
Follow route, until you go outside. Jump from cliff to cliff. A chest with
a healing Leaf can be found. Once at the top, go outside to get the Vahn
Fist and equip it. Now go to the T-road, and go left.

[Left]
Pick up Healing Bloom in one of the chests on the cliffs. At the top, go
into the cave. In the long hallway, move forward until you reach the end.
Heal before proceeding, and save at the Memory Statue. Go to Noa, and
Terra will greet Meta. Go forward, and you'll have to fight Caruban.
_________________________________________________________________________
Caruban
ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
At first, charge your Spirit, both of you. Have Noa do the Rushing Gale
and have Vahn heal when they're low in HP, or attack in normal, regular
times. The Caruban can attack very violently, and does lots of damage.
Be careful of his Fire Breath attack too, it does lotsa damage. Do Spirit
every turn you have, and then unleash some combos on him. Pretty soon,
he'll fall down and vanish.
_________________________________________________________________________

After Terra talks to you, go and touch the Genesis Tree. The revived
Genesis Tree will exterminate the Mist in your area, so there are no
more Seru on the mountain. Everybody in the Drake Castle will return
to normal. After that, go back to Drake Castle.

On your way out (still in mt. Rikuroa), there are still monsters, but
less random encounters. When you arrive at the castle, answer to Noa
"Ha, ha, ha. Don't worry.". Go down, and King Drake will greet you. He
will bring you to the big hall, which is actually the throne room.

After some talking, he will give you the Water Key. Going to the right
door leads to a bedroom where you can rest and save. Take the chest
that has a Fire Book I. Also, it's better if you talk to all the people
of the castle.

If you go back to the gate before you met King Drake, go up-left and
you will find a chest with a Healing Leaf. In the Lightning Gate room,
go into the dining room, and pick up the chest with the Healing Leaf
near the chairs.

In the Sunrise room, go right, and pick up the chest with Swift Water.
Go to the left door, the chest contains a Healing Bloom. Go outisde,
and a cutscene with Noa will occur. Answer the top choice (don't break
her heart; c'mon, it's not good to ruin other people's feelings).

Follow Noa wherever she goes (BTW, she looks real cute, eh?), and after
she rejoins you back, you can buy things from the stores. Exit this
place, and go to the bridge on the right. Use the Water Key on the Water
Gate controller, and the dam will stop the flowing water.

Take the Wind Book I in the chest. Proceed into the next scene. Go
right, and up into the thick mist. After the dialogue with Meta, go pick
up the chest which contains a Phoenix. Go out and follow the route to the
right until you come to a bridge.

Cross the bridge, and go up and enter the building. Go forward and press
X on the strange thing. A guard will come and welcome you. You will meet
Zupo. Go forward, and in the next room, go left. A voice will greet you.

THIS IS WHERE I AM RIGHT NOW. I'LL TRY TO UPDATE THIS FAQ AS SOON AS
POSSIBLE! THANKS FOR READING!
