Hiroyuki Takahashi, president of Camelot Software Planning which are responsible for the Golden Sun series (and other succesful titles like the Mario Golf/Tennis games), published news today in which he stated that there won't be a sequel to their popular RPG Golden Sun. He says: "It wasn't an easy decision for us because we know there are so many fans out there and we even were contacted by Nintendo since they wished to tie in with the GBA games' succes. But there wasn't another way because we hadn't the right creativity for it and didn't want to make the necessary effort for such a big title. We simply don't want to develop such RPGs anymore because we are more comfortable with sport games. We are really sorry but that's our last word and we hope you will understand our decision."
