Also ich hab den hochgelobten Langenscheid Übersetzer auf'm PC und der ist noch so mies das ich mich teilweise kranklache von dem was der mir übersetzt...
Trotzdem würd ich den empfehlen,weil meist kann man zumindest doch den Sinn entschlüsseln damit,das man erkennt was gemeint ist...

Mal gucken was der Googleübersetzter kann. ;)

Although wuerd I recommend that, because usually one can decode the sense at least nevertheless thereby, which one recognizes which is meant...

Im großen und ganzen komme ich ja mit dem Lesen klar, aber bei vielen Wörtern müsste ich auch ein Übersetzer rauskramen. Da vergeht mir dann doch iregndwie die Lust am Lesen. Vielleicht macht sich hier wirklich jemand die Mühe :). Ist den meisten bestimmt etwas anstrengend alles zu übersetzen.
Bin ja mal gespannt, ob sich dann hier auch mal ein paar Amerikaner anfinden werden.

It ist not necessary to write very good English...
the main intention ist that everybody understands what you want to say.

So darf ich bitte wissen warum mein Beitrag geschlossen worden ist????? Einfach so geschlossen. Tut mir leid wenn ich verpasst habe aber ich wusste nicht das es die ganze Zeit um den Krieg geht. Ich dachte das neue Forum sei auch für andere Unterhaltungen. Naja wenn das so ist werde ich das Forum meiden. Sicher bin ich nicht für Krieg und natürlich ärgert mich das was da passiert habe ich bereits geschrieben dennoch kann man auch über andere Sachen reden. Naja macht was ihr wollt.

In my opinion, I think the war is only justified to the point that its intent is to rid the world of a dictator who had killed off his own family because he was afraid of being over thrown and who let his country starve and go into poverty, just to name a few. The way that Bush has decided to go about it is just plain offensive. He says that if we were to let him strike first, then it would be suicidal to the unites states. This supposed prevention is very much a direct attack. But, frankly, because I am no predisdent I can see no other way to go about stopping the potential funding of other al-quaeda terrorists.

How about, instead of talking about my bad English skills, can I talk about my bad German skills. PLEASE! anyone who can correct my grammar or anything is certainly welcome to do so. I am only in the first year of learning German, so im still unfamiliar with even the structure of the sentences...verbs at the end and such. :)

Not "write"... in the moment I wrote my statement, I wasn't sure if "write" was the right expression in context with "statement".

Oh, the whole "write" confusion...i wasnt sure what you were asking. But, yes you can use write with statement.

Okay, now I know, what you wanted to say. I would translate your first part like this:
"Ich wollte damit sagen (relative free translation), dass ich nicht wie ein Politiker klingen wollte und dass dies,meine Meinung war, die sich durch die gelernten "Informationen" gebildet hat."

Okay, your sentence seemd to me really easy at first. But then, when I tried to translate it, it became very difficult. So I tried my best to translate it without changing the sense. You see, German can be very difficult! That's why I like English so much, it is often (much)more simple.
I'm sorry, the word "Informationen" sounds a bit silly in the German sentence, but I can't find any other expression at the moment.
